John Robins and Elis James said Ed is one of the quickest on the circuit, and having seen him do a few wips, I can only agree. His skill when it comes to crowdwork is just immense.
I don't think you can find it online anywhere anymore but he really worked his improv chops on the Ray Peacock podcast and the Peacock and Gamble podcast. They were so funny back in the day
I love how Ed looks a bit defensive first and like he is about to say something typically white, like my best man is brown, but then realises the staff joke is there and goes for it. Because in that group and in the uk even, he can.
I love this clip so much, because the joke is hilarious and everybody acknowledges that while he and everyone else also acknowledge that it’s playing with racial stereotypes and could be viewed as controversial.
@ Ha! Yeah, it sure did… Weird, that’s the second time that’s happened this week. I’m just gonna leave it there now, to confound as many people as possible.
Ew. Why would he just needlessly drag race into it? Props to Ed turning the dead crowd into laughter again but for christ sake what a pointless buzzkill.
The moment that thought came into his head is lovely to spot.
According to TM, Little Alex Horne ate a pat of butter at that wedding because the TM told him to.
I immediately thought about that when they mentioned his wedding
the next video after this one, immediately after i read your comment and scrolled, was TM telling this story
@@1MoTimeRound He must have a strong stomach - I felt sick just watching him eat that hot toothpaste pie in season 1. The toothpaste had SKIN.
@@spicybiscuit88 And the crunchy, hairy, dog food "pasta" also from season 1.
“We’ll have staff” 🤣🤣🤣 I love it

He is stupid fast. Although he did get lucky when I saw him on this tour at Cardiff, when he happened to talk to a train lawyer 😂

I bet Nish died laughing at this
And Nish was best man
the timing is immaculate
The wedding where Greg dares Alex to eat a whole pat of butter (whatever that means) and Alex just pops the whole thing in his mouth.
A pat of butter is a small, individually packaged chunk of butter, commonly served with bread at restaurants
"the whole thing" it's quite small and you would easily swallow it. It's really not impressive.
@@XAVR_ aaaahh., that's much less disgusting, than what I thought it was xD

So quick - and the delivery aswell - if he hadn't said it in an exaggerated posh accent it would've just sounded horrendous.
@@spicybiscuit88 Exactly just perfect execution to be funny and acknowledge how bad it is.
Importantly the joke istelf isn't racist, the joke is that he is racist. It's mocking racism not mocking people of other races
It's all about context.
When you can comfortably take the piss out of each other you know you're in a good place.
32:08 The irony of Robert correcting someone’s pronunciation! 😆

Try the older ones, they had actual comedians on it and it was really good.
