This video was great. After trying and failing to put a new harness on my petite (900 lb) mare. This clearly shows how to do it correctly. I loved the part about the blinker and bit setup. Also keeping the strap in front of the horse connected and sliding over his head is a big time and correct fit idea I will use. THANK YOU!
Wren was a star that day. she kept her feet on her marks, and only got bored towards the end. She keeps herself cleaner than her grey siblings . . . but lots of regular grooming with a curry comb, and baths with shampoo for grey horses helps.
To me, those blinkers are a little too close to the eyes; there should be another inch to one and one half inches of space between the eye and the inside of the blinker. That's as I was taught, anyway.
