The Imam Abu-Jaffar At-Tahawiy(from As-Salaf aka the real Salaf) will say one thing and the one claiming to explain it will say exactly what contradicts that You guys should learn At-Tahawiy from non Wahabies, they are Anthropomorphists( they claim Allah is a body, with sides, and boundries)

I am a Muslim trying to learn, Alhamdulilah. In regard to what Allah says in the Qur'an about Himself. I think the point is if Allah says He created with his Hands, or He rose above the Throne. As Muslims we affrim that's what Allah said and any meanings from Muhammad ﷺ. We do not anthropomorphise or compare or ask how or add anything Allah hasn't said. This is beyond our capability and understanding unless Allah tells us. As soon as we put our limited human intellect to this we will go astray. We don't need to know, we are not disrespecting or limiting/putting boundaries on Allah (Allah forbid) It's what He said and we believe in it. However, we do not create a meaning that was not explained or understood by Muhammad ﷺ and the Salaf. This is changing a meaning to what was never understood and this is problematic. We all In-sha'Allah accept Allah is All Knowing, All Seeing and All Hearing and nothing is comparable. Many affrim these but reject others things because their mind goes to human intellect or comparison. You may not agree with this or maybe you do. @@Khannonball There is a big different between what the likes of Ibn Tayymiyyah and Muhammad ibn Abdul-wahab and what As-Salaf practiced. As for the Salaf if they approached an ayah in the Qur'aan, and it was Mutashaa'bih they said it has a meaning that befits Allah, but the Wahabies those who call themselves Salafiy don't do that, they take the Mutashaa'bih ayahs about the attributes of Allah literally (like Yaad which is translated literally into english as Hand) they say its a literally hand/organ/ which Allah grabs with then they say but not like other hands. This is clear Tashbeeh(likening Allah to the creation. The author of this book Aqeedahtu-AT-Tahawiyyah says Allah is supremely clear of boudnries, extremes, sides, organs, and instruments, the six directions do not contain him, as they contain created things. How can you claim to explain something when it refutes your belief system
