Going through some older Midnight Screenings episodes to see if they still hold up to me. I was definitely a very different guy when I used to listen to these. Surprisingly still a good listen.
I know nothing about this movie, I've never seen it, I've never heard of it, but i am here for two reasons. 1) I need my Angry Jake fix 2) Aurelio Voltaire's song "The Headless Waltz" begins with the line "As above, so below" so why the hell not?
+Ethan Olsvik The main characters had no common sense it is a movie that will and can piss you off. It's oh there is scary stuff happening it's like every other horror movie with dumb people.
The funniest thing about them getting things done so easily is how fucking pissed La Tope is getting in the background. "Fucking really? FUCKING REALLY? If I would have pulled out the right stone out of the wall I could have LIVED? THIS IS BULLSHIT IMMA SMASH ALL YOUR FACES ON THE GROUND."
God I miss Jake; I know he fucked up, but I miss him talking about movies EDIT: Right well this was before I found out he was a scumbag and a sociopath so my bad brad (if you see this)
Yeah, sounds like I would hate this movie, because I can't fucking stand when people in movies & tv say that they believe in, or lived through, one mystical thing, but disbelieve in another that is along those lines. Like someone living in a high fantasy world telling their kids that ghosts don't exist, or a bad guy arguing that magic isn't real, but he's trying to release a demon from a portal. Also, Heavy Rain stole a fuck ton of stuff from movies, so it's only fair that a movie steals from it.

"They all failed their Will saves!"
Perfect description for the movie right there
This was directed by the same guy who did "Devil", "No Escape" and "Quarantine". A testament to its quality I think
M Night Shamalan?
@@theletterm1787No Shyamalan only did Devil.
11:16 It turned into a JJ Abram’s Film.

I just wanted to see an angry Jake
@@LegoManiac_101 Well, there's no Angry Jake and they'll never be an Angry Jake.
Jake's an unmitigated jerk, but I miss him. He's like that sore on the back of your gums you can't quit bothering. To paraphrase Taxi X)
+Mike Lee wait, what happened to Jake?
+Ashs2dust - He was kicked off the show because he was sleeping with Brads girlfriend.
+Jerbsinator Just curious but is Jake not white, because he sure looks white
Late, but pretty great, to tell you from experience.
I enjoyed the guys's example of the headlights and the scan. I haven't seen the movie, but I could see it going like that

I really enjoyed this review.
👍👍
The two best found footage films aren't about ghosts. Cannibal Holocaust is about Amazon Cannibals, and The Blair Witch Project is about a witch.

someguy827 I don't know all the details but I think he was messing around with one of the guy's girlfriends/wives. I can't remember though

So Jake has seen Fullmetal Alchemist. Nice.
I actually liked this film, but I saw it mostly for the scenes of the catacombs. The visuals were pretty cool, no matter how bad the film was.
Willow Creek is a good found footage film. And it's about bigfoot, crazily enough.

الفلم حلو بس نبغى الرابط كامل
bill and Ted 2 ftw
نريد الفلم كامل في حد هنا عربي يحكي معي
I watched it. I liked it. Then again, I'm not a cynical hipster.
Yeah, because only cynical hipsters have standards.
Just watched it with my mom. It was shit.
