In order to make the speed tempo of the snare roll fit with the speed tempo of the vocal buildup also make sure that the snare sample is also 1 bar long just like the vocal sample before you drag the snare sample to the DirectWave plugin. 👍
Just brain storming, maybe you can download and install the trial version of FL. Then you can use the Direct Wave as full and do your LFO effect. Then just render it as a wave file.

Oh, I had the same problem. Producer edition has "DW Player" it's a limited version of DW.
