Classic But Modern 3 Bed 2 Full Bath on New York's Own Champ-Elysees.
Spacious classic six in a pre-war (actually post WW1) landmark building on the Grand Concourse. Across the street from The Andrew Freeman Home and down the block from the Bronx Museum. Enter a large art-filled foyer with 2 closets one regular and the other cedar.
Turn right and confront a huge kitchen/dining room that would make any chef happy to call their own. A GE Pro 5 burner stove with a convection oven. A Kitchenaid French door refrigerator. An under-counter Kitchenaid dishwasher and an LG stacked washer/dryer are dramatically red. Finished off with split door floor-to-ceiling cabinets. All this surrounding a 7' x 4’ center island sandstone countertop over European storage cabinets on both sides. An exposed brick wall with shelves for your cookbook library and appliances and still plenty of room for a dining room table that seats 8 and a credenza. Or you could walk straight through the French doors into a bright spacious living room facing south. Original hardwood floors throughout. Turn down the separate hallway to the first bedroom that is currently being used as an in-home office and art studio with a large storage closet. The second bedroom has a large closet and plenty of room for a Queen size bed, dressers, and cabinets. Pass by two big hall closets on the right to the first full bathroom. A reglazed cast Iron tub, floor-to-ceiling Subway tiles, and glass shelves in the bathroom window. Next enter the primary bedroom with twin closets more exposed brick and an en suite bathroom. A frameless glass shower with Rohl Thermostatic Rain Shower System. The walls are Porcelanosa glass tiles and you have glass shelves on the window.
The building has a live-in Super and Porter. Laundry room and Bike rack in the basement and a dog-friendly attitude.
Local amenities include the D train on the corner and 4 train is three blocks away, 5 huge parks with Soccer fields, Baseball Diamonds, handball and Basketball courts, Tennis courts, toddler playgrounds, a BMX bike track, and a dog run. Easy access to at least 6 supermarkets and a Farmers Market every Tuesday.
Living space and a community you can stretch out in. There is no reason to feel cramped inside or out.
If you were planning on looking for a HOME in the confines of New York look no further. You’ve arrived.
Beautiful apartment!🥰 Love the layout and so huge! That kitchen 😍!
Glad you like it!
Beautiful
Thank you! The L is one of my favorite lines in 1100 Grand Concourse. This unit is a resale. The seller did a total renovation and opened up the walls between the dining room and the kitchen creating this huge living room/dining area. It looks very modern while retaining many prewar features.
Indeed 🍒
Do you have wheelchair accessible buildings
Love the French doors to living room the kitchen is huge and cozy just that I don’t like the island is looks industrial to me but the exposed brick is gorgeous also in the main bedroom love it
This is a cool apartment and only $599k because in Manhattan, it would probably be $2M or more.
The buyers of this apartment were fortunate! The interest rates were not as high as they are now, and you're right; that kind of space is hard to find in Manhattan, and if you find it, it will definitely list much higher!
Está disponible
I’d bet my last dollar a single man designed this place, or at least the kitchen lol. The “shit” in the bathroom was a nice touch. Great space though and a nice tour, thanks!
That’s only 600,000
How much is the mortgage?
I cant stand the cracking of the floors. For that price I need it to NOT do that❗
So don't buy it simple 🤭
