i was one of those who was deeply impacted in upstate new york in 1989 when rodney first came to the united states. my life was never the same. so incredibly thankful. and what i have learned over the years and 50 years of marriage, is that if i speak in the tongues of men and of angels but have not love, I am only a ringing gong or a clanging cymbal. that love is patient, love is kind. it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. it is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no account of wrongs. that love takes no pleasure in evil, but rejoices in the truth. it bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. that LOVE NEVER FAILS.
