I assume so because the name and type(Core/Ultra) but still in doubt. Thanks for the reply. First time asking something on TH-cam😅.
William Alexander unfortunately the art on the Character Card has to match the art next to where it says the evo evolves from. So, you can’t use new Bakugan with old evos. Makes me sad too!

William Alexander that’s pretty true 😂 the current rule book actually says if the card is the same name and faction it’s ok to do BUT there was a ruling (I heard... haven’t seen myself 😅) where VK said it has to have the same art to count. So many things are confusing and up in the air at this point hahaha that’s why I tweeted about being so excited for the new rulebook coming soon!!
These guys are so self aware. They know damn well they're playing GD bakugan but they're having a blast and no one's trying to take things too seriously, or turn it into a cringe fest... I can think of a few tournaments and competitors who could take a few lessons from this

I remember playing this game over nine years ago in elementary school. Never figured out how to play so my friends and I would either deploy *all* of our Bakugan at once and scream about how ours would win, or just throw them at each other until we got yelled at by a teacher and put in timeout for the rest of recess. Wish I knew where all mine went, I miss those things :(
Same here. I lost most of mine from moving which sucks bc I had a lot of them. I bought some of the new ones just to relive the old days a bit. If this pandemic ends and I find some of the original bakugan from a garage sale or something I might get them
As a Yugioh duelist myself, I can confirm this. When some friends of mine saw me duel (it was a very intense duel) they looked at the duel with the most shocked expressions. They told me they don’t know what was going on but they liked it

When one person successfully opens all their bakugan and is a victor all 3 times. How do they get the losing player to discard the rest of their deck? Do they keep rolling one of the open bakugans?
I'm afraid this version of the game is now defunct and unsupported. I wouldn't recommend investing in the old TCG products, but the toys from this era are still fun, and can be used for a version called the 'bakugan toy battling game' that you can look up.
can someone explain what happened to subterra? Also I haven't visited bakugan in a few years so things must have changed a LOT for me (I'm an old timer but not a pro gamer since I was too stupid back then)
I like just how even they were the whole time up till the final part of round 1. It's a shame there's not like a competitive 'roleplay' part of this game where you actually have to act and talk like you're in a battle. Who here would be totally blown away if Spinmaster went as far as to make an AR style Bakugan Battle area with headsets and whatnot where you actually had to run around and pick up cores with your hands like in the show? I know I would. Exercise AND fun rolled into one.

The problem I don’t know how to play the card game so if someone can teach me thank you I don’t know what are flip card and how you use them and what are energies and more I don’t know but thanks for the guy who will teach me
I recommend checking out khodok's video explaining the rules, aswell as cimo's (I think negative legend also has a video explaining the rules.) If at that point you're interested in competitive gameplay I recommend checking out the brawler cafe and bakumentary. Haru Ren bakutalk also has some competitive info as well as is generally a good source of bakugan news.

Ok I just got my first bakugan and so far I get the gameplay but where do I see the energy for using cards ?? It’s not like mtg where you can see the land s you have that you can use and which are used already. The deck ist kinda the hitpoints you have ? How do you keep track which core belongs to who 🤣
Hmm has the rules for this changed or something. from what i remember there was only about 9 cards in your deck and you rolled the marbles onto cards not hexagons. im guessing its changed from when it was first on tv i havent really seen or even thought about it till just now
