Watching this versus 2023 is like watching Simone Biles do her gold meal floor exercise. You can see the slight nuances that made this an amazing performance, while the most recent was THE GOAT!!! Well done!
My favorite ballad of the entire contest. Anthony just reels you RIGHT in, and the support from the harmony parts compliment/support the message SO well. You guys are truly special, I see gold in their future (2023 😉)
The last 5 years is by far one of my favorite musicals. I’ve been listening to it since 2010. After Hours sung the snot out of “The Next Ten Minutes” and these guys killed it on this one. Theo did a spectacular job arranging both of those pieces. Midtown, great job performing this. I’ve been looking forward to hearing this since you guys sung it on your webcast during COVID. Keep it up guys.
This was a spectacular and unforgettable performance from the Charlotte convention. It's too bad the video doesn't start with the way the quartet set up the song; before they sang a single note the audience was aware that this was going to be a song with a heavy message. So they grabbed us before they even started singing and did not let go. It was all so emotional and so beautifully performed.
This was amazing, but the best I've heard it performed was when they qualified at the CSD Spring convention in Wichita. I was in absolute tears... Either way, this has become one of my favorite pieces and I look forward to hearing it again in the future!
I was there in Wichita too. It was amazing. You could hear pin drop when they stopped singing. The ENTIRE audience was so invested in every note. I, personally, have never experienced anything like that at a CSD contest. It was such a polished sound paired with a level of vulnerability that I have never witnessed in a live performance.
It's interesting how with your, sort of, generalized cultural assumptions of men and women the impact of the song changes a bit when they changed the pronouns. I don't feel like they had to do it, but I welcome such bald-faced expression of emotion.

This aged well 🎉🎉🎉
Doesn't he???? I just want to run up on stage and hug him! Then go find that tramp, Jamie!
The way KJ matches Anthony’s inflection and tone is so amazing.
what a fantastic arrangement and performance. I played the part of Jamie twice for this show so I know how tricky it is to sing as a solo. well done
So proud and honored to be a part of this...
I'm only just seeing this but their lead has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard
These guys just hit different. Such an honest performance, but still clean as a whistle. So good on so many levels!

Ohhhh i would have loved to see that and their exit as well!
Fabulous Lead performance from Anthony.

Agreed, I still pull that performance up from time to time. It's so good!
ABsolutely stunningly beautiful ❤❤❤❤
Love the harmonies!
1:58 to 2:06 classic barbershop
Such an emotional performance! ❤
1. Love Love Love Love Love. 2. What Niko Said about Anthony et al!
Wow. This is so fresh and new. Well done!
Theo Hicks strikes again!
Very nice! I must admit, though, that because of the title I was expecting a parody of Paul Simon's "Still Crazy After All These Years". :-)
Arranged by Theo Hicks
