It's not though....Playing a 10 mana card for 8 mana is not that big of an advantage compared to 90% of the time just getting random 8 mana cards. 95% of the 8+mana cards are reliant on battlecries too so really if you want a great 8-10 mana just have it in your deck

Glimmer root actually isn't very good. It's just add a random card from your opponent's deck to your hand, except you have to guess what it is. If you don't, it means nothing. Kinda dumb
Mark l except in a control game that single card could be the thing that lets you win. Also the guessing is pretty easy with how people mainly play meta decks
