To bad he played it wrong. He plays B natural instead of B flat for one of the notes and it really changes things, and not in a good way.
The Black Queen actually the B natural is correct. It makes the end of the riff chromatic instead of fitting in with the chord scheme
@@indianaboyz57 The original follows the G blues scale, which is played with a B flat. The first measure is not chromatic for sure. The second measure is slightly harder to hear clearly, but I am quite certain it's also a B flat.

Doctor Brian May is one of the most underrated guitar players. Not only did he build his red special guitar from spare parts in his garage ah la a jedi crafting his own lightsaber he was one of the first to really experiment and push the boundaries of what a guitar can sound like.
And his ideas with guitar layering and effects, and not to mention the Deacy Amp

He’s not underrated at all. He’s widely regarded as one of the top 20 or so guitarists of all time. And rightly so.
I would disagree with the "first to really exxperiment" part. That title goes to Jimi Hendrix.

For anyone who doesn't know, Brian May wrote most of the guitar riffs, but arguably the most iconic one from Bohemian Rhapsody was written by Freddie!
Daffa Hazza Brian May himself admitted it in an audio commentary of Queen documentary. so was the riff in Another Bites The Dust by John Deacon

Queen riffs feel like a mix between Led Zeppelin and AC/DC riffs, Brian May is an amaizing guitarist.
Only they were before ac/dc and after led zeppelin
Fun fact: Queen was specifically trying to bring that Led Zeppelin grit into their glam-rock setting, and created/pioneered Glam Metal (which youtube recognizes as a genre, by the way!) before moving on to pop, hard rock, and weird stuff like basically all of A Night at the Opera. Not to sound like WatchMojo or anything...

The First 2 Albums are wild. Check em out. Some over the top stuff, but some crazy Guitar licks. "Great King Rat", "Modern Times Rock N Roll", Ogre Battle- Serious shredding.
