But Damn for the same price you get a 458 Speciale basically the same price.. Budgetwise, The 488 will drop, when the 458 Speciale will build up more and more as a limited Special edition car, And don't tell me that the 458 are bad performancewise :)

Tom Hartley have a 2004 Ferrari 360 Spider with a Manual Gearbox and only 1200 miles. It's absolutely perfect for your first Ferrari and super car!
Nah, low kms cars can be trouble, plus if you get one you might be inclined to keep the miles down!
Get a higher kms one with a good service history and get out there and add plenty more!

I was never a Ferrari fan boy until recently and I don't think people understand it if they haven't been around one, especially the newer ones which work & are finished nicely and go like stink!

I have to disagree with both of you on the 488 to me it doesn't feel like a super car it feels like a GT car yes a very fast GT but that's it and the sound isn't worthy of Ferrari .. on the other hand McLaren has taken the track over when it comes to the 675 and the 720s even though the 720 is like the 488 where it's more of a GT car but it's super car fast but tame just like the 488 ... maybe Ferrari left a bad taste in my mouth but the company in a hole has sunk to a very low low plus they have moved away from what made them great and that's the race track , I understand 90% of buyers never race there car but then just call them what they are and that's a very very expensive grand tourer with maintenance costs that are just ridiculous .. I'm not a lambo fan either but at least there doing what they should and going full super/hyper car there hurracan is a very comfortable ride but then kicks ass at the track and I encounter many hurracans at the track and never a Ferrari it's almost like there strictly poser cars ... at least the 488 sounds great and if I had to buy a Ferrari it would be the TDF , I haven't heard enough about the superfast to comment on it but if they went the same route as the 458-488 it will be a very bad move
Have you ever actually driven any of those? ..One fact you need to think about; the "gt" feeling 488 is as fast on the track as a track-special, half more expensive 675..and since the 488 was introduced in 2015 it's not a rival for the 720s..
I gotta agree with Matthew that is pretty much shit. And I get it, you like it, and to whoever likes it, well good on you, but I really think its shit. And ferrari must have had a bad week/month/year when they were developing it because it doesnt have the sound of a ferrari, nor the looks.. too round, too soft, too boring in my opinion.. and alrigth compared to the 458 its lighter and faster. But it lacks on the drama.. it doesnt give the fizz like the 458 does.. and the turbo.. well cant say much about it, the f40 well its WAAAAAY better than the 488, and why you might ask, well its has turbo lag, its too loud, to harsh, has a massive wing, looks the part and has all the drama that a ferrari can have.. and the 488 is nothing like it. faster yes, but thats it. The technology of the 458 is aged and older than the 488s but the 458 has the sound, the looks, the drama. I could go on for days about why I dont like it, but then again everyone is entitled to an opinion so yeah... cheers
Bud Chronic actually bud I've owned 2 of them but you wouldn't believe me so it's not worth saying it .. I'm 47 and grew up in NYC and owned a family company for 30 years a graphics company but none of that matters I owned a 12c when it was first made and lived it but had many maintenance problems but since then McLaren has become a solid super car company as for Ferrari it was a great company but when it went public they became soft and yes I invested a few dollars in it thinking it would stay with there same ideas but they haven't , oh yes I owned a used 458 and loved it but it had 7000 miles and I didn't want to spend the 7500 for the next maintenance cycle .. so I believe I can comment on most cars since I've driven many and even races a few mainly at VIR but now I moved to Florida and can't wait to hit Daytona for the first time .. as for what I race now it's a 2012 Z07 and that's a Z06 with the Z07 package and if you ask why I don't race supercars and it's easy enough to explain I don't like bumping doors at 140 into tight turns , most people don't race there expensive cars they race race cars ..
