feel bad for sako because he felt abandoned by his long time friend (pretty much childhood friend with how long they knew each other) but at the same time, this mess could've been solved by a good communication of him telling hiragi he didn't care about hiragi being at the top lol
but it's been insinuated many times that sako sucks at communication from both hiragi and shishitoren side so i guess it was a given that his feelings would've been misunderstood

I think getting toyed with was the worse... because in getting one punched, you could just blame it on the strength of the punch and say that it was really, really strong. An excuse can be: it's too bad it landed on you. But getting toyed with... I feel like it's more difficult to find excuses for that because for one, you're not really getting "beat up" but you still can't land a punch and kept on falling and stumbling on your own.
Cloverworks when they actually put their talent to work is one of the best studio's ,the problem is their work culture is sometimes even more extreme than Mappa ,but hopefully they took their time with this one .
The fight was really cool and fantastic. Hiragi and Sako's flashback was so touching 😭
not the cats throwing hands first before hiragi-sako😂the last three 1-1 battle is really unpredictable with whos gonna win, specially the upcoming two fights because the fight and talking is executed so well you cant tell anymore whos gonna take the last hit.. with the build-up with togame since last episode, upcoming togame-sakura fight IS a very tough one.. both emotionally and physically🥲 can't wait to see your reaction!

The next fight is gonna be rough no matter who wins,,, On one hand I do agree that they've been hyping Togame up so much and he's been getting scarier and scarier with each fight, but there's also the fact that we've yet to see Sakura fight a seriously tough opponent. All the other times they've been just small fry that got knocked out in one punch, so we don't even know how strong he really is. And we've gotten a bunch of tiny crumbs of foreshadowing- Hiragi hinting that he thinks Sakura will win TWICE, Suo himself not really wanting to fight Sakura (and similarly Sakura being able to grasp the situation in Suo's fight and still claim that he wouldn't be beaten down), even Umemiya seeming relaxed and confident and keeping an eye on him as he comments on other fights. Him losing for character development would be good, painful but fair, but at the same time it's not like he's been talking smack with nothing to back him up. He seems like he never says more than he knows he should, doesn't just rile people up without thinking it through and doesn't seem to overestimate his own abilities. If anything, I feel like Togame might end up going into the fight entirely too angry, overconfident in his own position and the fact that Sakura is a newbie and that will be his ultimate downfall. Its not like he would be beated in a direct fight, but it would be the result of these past 3 episodes slowly amping up this conflict. ,,, Or maybe i'm just looking too much into it and rambling uselessly
It's the "kind" of winning if you understand the hint, anyway look forward to sakura and togame's fight, at least 2 episodes long, likewise with ume and choji lol.

Sakura is already a very strong fighter. We watched him solo like 20 guys, basically a pure-bred street fighter. Him winning is plausible. The only thing I would think happening to slow the progression of winning would be an event that stops the whole situation from escalating beyond Sakura's finishing. This way these last two fights don't get immediate resolution. My theory anyways
Yeah we haven't seen Sakura in a full one-on-one fight but he was handling a big group of dudes just fine. He mainly got screwed by someone taking a knife to his ankle lol. I don't doubt that Togame is strong so I expect it to be a close fight, but I'm predicting that Sakura wins. Narratively it would work to have a clean sweep because the focus has been on the clashing ideology of Bofurin vs. Shishitoren. So having even the leaders of Shishitoren lose to further prove that their ideology doesn't really lend to fostering "strong" fighters would help give the foundation for Shishitoren to change their ways.

Just like yuji and yuta are the 2 main protagonists of jjk, gojo and sukuna are the strongest in the verse
Thus sakura is the MC but he ain't the strongest at all in the verse. Literally 4 to 5 give or take are stronger than him
However with the power of conviction and friendship and most importantly the oponent gives up, you can guess who wins?

As a fan of the WBK manga, sakura and togame's fight will take up at least 2 episodes that goes the same for umemiya and choji's fight, you'll get the backstory as well with shishitoren, so look forward to it.

Sakura is the mc and is really strong but storywise he should lose. Sakura places the highest value in the fact that he can beat someone else, that's his character philosophy (or at least what he tells himself) so for him to slowly remove that worldview he should know that his worth is more than just fighting and there are other people who'll support him whether he wins or lose. It's the perfect opportunity to show the MC that Bofurin has his back.

the entire tournament so far has been setting up the idea that the other group's current way isn't quite right (characters commenting on how shishitoren has been lame lately, how they used to care about the team and what went wrong, the way the shishitoren members keep losing, etc).
We've seen neither Sakura nor Togame's true fighting skills for one-on-ones so there's no guarantee on who's stronger.
The only reasons why people think Sakura is gonna lose are 1) he's been saying he's gonna win and people think it's a "nah i'd win" situation (but from the hiiragi sako fight, we can see that saying you'd win doesn't mean you'd actually lose) 2) bofurin has been winning a lot so by anime logic there should be a loss.

I think sakuras fight would be 2 episodes (7, 8) then Ume’s fight is 2 episodes (9, 10) then 1 episode for the cooldown meeting after and start of short arc after that with new characters. Then 2 episodes (12, 13) to finish the short arc and end with the rooftop meeting.
