I accidentally knocked out ogre with this move with electric on 2:33 in the final round on Tekken tag tournament 2 and I screamed that's impossible to happen when I was just pressing f, 1,2,3 and Jin did that move 🤣🤣🤣😂😂
Jin Kazama is cooler and stronger than I thought. I played Jin and won when I played Tekken 7 yesterday although I bought Tekken 7 yesterday. Beginner's luck😅
Still can't understand why they replaced Ni Rengeki Sen with Ni Rengeki and removed Left Sidekick To Stinger Sen from the movelist when Jin can still use them
Rosario Rovere i dont know why they take off so many moves of all characters :/ and i miss so many classic characters in this game too, Zafina, Anna Julia and Lei :\
Except Kazuya (they removed a lot of moves with him), with others characters they optimized a bit the way the moves were showed in the command list. Still would've prefered if chain moves were showed this time, since many newbies could try to main a character and not even know about them
I would say Kazuya is a better choice than Jin for Smash because there’s no moves for Jin as a recovery. Story wise, he can barely control his powers Also Savage Sword is something I’ve admired for a long time and I wish I can try it out lol
You do know we have Devil Jin for that right? I mean sure story wise he dislikes the devil gene within him, but he still uses it regardless, so Jin's devil form can be his recovery move just as much as how Kazuya's recovery move is. Regardless of he can control it or not, he can still use the devil gene, so he can just fly, so, yeah, he has a recovery move. But if you don't like it, well, we do have the "High Pounce" as an alternative recovery, it's a move Jin used to have in Tekken 3, but Devil Jin has that move now, so, there, he has two potential recovery moves. If anything, you should be saying that to Heihachi, and a lot of people wanted Heihachi in Smash idk why, when there's literally Kazuya and Jin But to give you a backup argument on why Jin isn't in Smash, well, it would be weird seeing Jin turn into his devil form while wearing his alternate hoodie costume IF he was even in Smash in the first place. And I'll admit, I did actually wanted Jin in Smash, but I'm still happy with Kazuya nonetheless
It could be more longer If uses 'rakshasa rampage' Instead of rakshasa fury While reaching the wall And could also do wall break and after wall break Down , could use rakshasa fury , then rage
Huh.. yeah, kyokushin karate is definitely not for me, the new shotokan girl fighting style seems much more like my cup of tea, this seems like it could be easily beaten by your average boxer, not looking down on boxing btw, I know it's the strongest punching martial art, but I'm saying a boxer could kick Jin's ass with all of his kicks included, Jin's hits feel underwhelming, like they lack power, also they're unnecessarily short, it seems to me like he's constantly holding back
Laupepa jr Yeah, there is. Zenshin is basically an offensive variation of Jin's Mental Alertness 2, also known as the Crouching Demon Stance/CDS. Furthermore, not only can it be cancelled from other moves (e.g., f+4~F, b+3~F, etc.), but the stance itself can be cancelled into Jin's Crouch Dash using CDS~DF, allowing you to follow up with, say, a WS+2 if you think your opponent will duck his CDS 4. Mental Alertness 2, on the other hand, is a more evasive/defensive variation of his CDS. Just a friendly PSA.
because Jin's old moves were from Heihachi's style but after the first game, he entirely removed that style and evolved to Kyokushin Karate with some original movesets
Sam Kasimsim lol no. I can do most of this moves but I am not the strongest where I am practicing. Knowing moves won’t bring you anywhere, you have to know how to land it.
I like Jin's fighting style. There is a lot to learn from it. It is a good introduction to how Kyokushin Karate mixes well with Judo. Jin is a character who takes control of the fight by playing very aggressive, and reacting very fast to his opponent - something that is "real" in an actual fight. Jin is not meant to be played in a fearful manner - likewise you cannot fight in a fearful manner if you want to execute this fighting style. Kyokushin Karate is about being tough, very tough. Once you lose the fear of getting hit, and establish a mental calm, you then apply the controlling techniques. Even though you aren't afraid, you still don't want to get hit for obvious reasons. There are tools in Karate which Jin showcases quite well. You can carry this over to real life by focusing on a few aspects: 1. parrying attacks is crucial as it prevents you from taking damage, controlling the opponent, allows you to stay within close range of the opponent, and creating openings for counter-attacks.2. basic karate blocks are equally as essential as parrying as it is known that a block in Karate is not just a block, but rather a starting point in how to receive a strike. For example the Gedan Barai block can be used as strikes to the abdomen and face, as well as an arm lock and arm hold-break - quite a lot for a single block, and there's more to it. 3. fighting in a "in your face manner". This is possible by working on the first two mentioned components of the fighting style, as well as a fast reaction time and lack of fear. 4. Kicks. Kyokushin Karate focuses on very strong knockout kicks more than anything: roundhouse kicks to the head, axe kicks, spinning kicks, and even the "spinning flare kick" (Do Mawashi Kaiten Geri). 5. Uppercuts and roundhouse punches. These two types of punches are monstrous in the right hands: look at Mike Tyson, his famous KO combo of a body hook into an uppercut to the face, many have fallen to it. The other punch that Jin does is the basic Karate left-right punch (called double thrust I believe), usable in a few instances for example a person charging you for a takedown. I suggest looking at Jin from Tekken 4 as that is his most straightforward moveset. Look at some TAS videos. Hope I helped, I was also inspired by Jin a while back, and have begun studying Karate. It works very well (as a person who learned Boxing primarily).
True, his whole moveset is based on Full Contact Karate (Kyokushin Karate) and he has a lot of moves inspired from well known karatekas like Andy Hug etc

Is there a reason why Jin’s lightning is red while Kazuya and Heihachi’s is blue?
Jin's used to be blue in t3 because of the Mishima Karate then changed to red in t4 ever since Jin changed his fighting to Kyokushin.

You can cancel into it from specific moves, like f4 and holding forward
Also the back 1 stance can go under highs
