Love Deutz tractors. Always know an active small farm when you see spring green in the fields.
You got that right!
We bought a new Deutz 3006 in 1976 and it is still running like a champ in 2024! It cranks every time with only half a turn from the crank no matter what the temp. I can’t believe there was a better tractor made.
Very interesting. Another great informational video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video mate. Love seeing the progression through the different models.
Glad you enjoyed
A much more common sight in Europe, the Deutz tractor has been synonymous with quality agricultural equipment for over 100 years.
In the United States, the older series', particularly the DX 1 and 06 series tractors are still a fairly common sight on many small farms in the midwest.
I have two deutz tractors one D 5506 and one D 3006 and they still work perfect and powerful . Deutz its just a perfect type of tractor !!
Very Nice. We currently have three. a 6206 a 6806 and a 13006. Great tractors to this day.
As Deutz advertised, if you can find a tractor that gets the job done and uses less fuel than a Deutz, Buy it.
That is a solid advertisement. It is accurate, as Deutz tractors are super reliable and fuel efficient, and its a good point. That hypothetical tractor would be worth getting.
What an awesome series. My parents purchased a 100 06 in 1977. 100 Hp (106 technically), non-turbo, not AWD. It became the main tractor.
Was something to see it outwork the neighbor's 130'ish JD that was turbo-diesel, with dual's.
Everything about that '06 machine was ergonomic. Maintenance, cab layout, etc. Northern Iowa summers and winters never bothered that air-cooled engine. Engine efficiency and fuel consumption were amazing. Thanks for creating this series!
Ours are 52-06A, 62-06, and 100-06A. I would not mind coming across a 160-06 sometime.
I've only seen them in videos and once at an antique tractor show. They are certainly unique in the series.
We have 3 tractors of the 06 series. They are great.
We also have 3 06 tractors. a 62 06, a 68 06, and a 130 06.
My chipper has a Deutz engine. It is awesome
A lot of smaller equipment has been using Deutz engines for many years. It's very common to see them in skid steers, generators, and many residential, commercial, and construction devices.
The best jars in the world, I love them very much
I have never seen a 160 06 it looks so different from most Deutz tractors.
Well, at the time, a 160 horse tractor was a fairly large offering, and it was definitely given a more heavy duty, almost construction like design.
Any body know where to buy parts for the older models? I have a 70’s model 3006.
Ι love deutz germany.
Same! A very big fan.
