I’m so glad to see you back! Your new combinations are so pretty-that “Superman” mug was really pretty…and the firebrick red is so deep. Very nice, thanks for sharing😊☕️
OMG GIRRRLLL!!! What a kiln load, or 2!! Loving the new glazes!! I haven’t seen them for sale anywhere I shop! That ramen bowl is my favorite piece and the chopsticks are so perfect!! I prefer the iron wash on the medallion. It makes me think of rust a little bit and to me that goes with the Route 66 sign. Love the manly mugs too!! You know we allll missed you! Of course it’s a good thing to see more of you! This was an absolutely amazing kiln load or 2!
Hi Audrey! Great loads! I think I like the RIO wash wiped back better than the leather on the sprigs. It shows the detail better. That being said, I'm going to need some of that leather glaze! And the Fire and Ice as well. That firebrick red over obsidian is stunning! Not sure I can pick a fave. The Okie mugs are great too!
Thank you so much!! Yes leather is a staple for me lol. And I like deep firebrick so much more with obsidian under it. Makes it richer and more saturated.
Stunning pieces wow! Your pieces look amazing. You are so very talented. I recall you've taught yourself watching TH-cam, is that correct? How long have you be playing with clay for?? Keep up the awesome pottery creations
@@moreldesigns2674 well done such amazing progress. I started Oct 2022 attending self pacing/ work pottery studio. Read and watch loads online. I love watching everyone's reactions even they open their kilns. The joy, the excitement, the squeals of happiness. Plus the sighs of disappointment everyone shakes it off snd say I know next time, good learning experience. Keep up the awesome work and videos
I have a hard time trying the 3 coats of each glaze when I hear people share their combos. I’m always afraid it’ll crawl or pinhole or be a pool on my shelf!! Beautiful combos! Your neighbor to the North in KS does love your Okie and R.66 mugs!!! ❤
I've missed seeing your sweet face. Love Baby girl's dish, so sweet. And now I may have to try that fire n ice, how many coats did you use? Thank you for sharing, and congrats on surviving another ball season!
I just got the fire and ice glaze, I found your video because I was desperately trying to find an example of the outcome lol So, thank you very much for that!! It looks great. I saw a couple other examples, one of which is drastically different. I think if it goes very thick it might have a beautiful mottled effect. I'm trying a combination now of sangria, fire & ice, and obsidian. Wish me luck! Lol Also, you aren't kidding about it being thick. Lol it's more like a paste than a liquid, but maybe that's to help it go on thicker. It spreads very well despite the thickness
Thank you! Here’s a link to an extruded similar to mine. But the dyes you can find on Etsy 😊 www.amazon.com/dp/B09LDCDXKB/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_79Q7TRYHJDFT46XZX1KR?linkCode=ml2&tag=moreldesigns-20
Nice to see you back..great kiln opening..if u didn’t want to put dragon stone inside of a mug what would you use I was thinking walnut might match the dragon stone
Luv your work so original

Thanks Mindy!
Great kiln openings! Thanks for sharing 🥰
Aubrey, beautiful work! Loving those Route 66 mugs 😊. Thanks for a look at those new glazes! The lavender is beautiful!
Thanks so much! 😊 it’s my favorite purple so far.

You are the sweetest as always! Thank you so much!
@@moreldesigns2674 Aaw thanks!!
Fire and ice may be one of my new faves too! Love the way it breaks!!!
It’s such a fun glaze. Very happy with it too ❤️

I also like the iron oxide better, a slightly more rich red brown and it contrasts so nicely with the clay body
Yes! Thank you 😊

Thank you so much! Yes I learned by watching TH-cam videos. I started in October of 2021. Can’t believe it’s almost been three years.

caught ya!
My guess is CA was being a smart-Rear, and Higgie joined in and things got out of hand, and everyone worked together to protect CA

Awe! Thanks so much! I might be a light glazer which is why 3 coats work for me. I did put cookies just in case though lol.
The only time I've ever had a glaze crawl is when I dipped it. I've never had brushed glazes crawl, even with multiple thick heavy coats.
I've missed seeing your sweet face. Love Baby girl's dish, so sweet. And now I may have to try that fire n ice, how many coats did you use? Thank you for sharing, and congrats on surviving another ball season!
lol thank you! I did three coats of fire and ice. Beware it is THICK, but apparently that’s normal.

@crystalsmith3783 yeah I would have questioned its thickness but I saw a post by smack somewhere that confirmed it’s supposed to be thick.
Love your authenticity! Will you share your link for the extruder and dye link for handle?

Fire and ice, nice!!! Is that one glaze?
Yes! It’s a new glaze by amaco. 3 coats. 😊
To many gorgeous mugs to have a favourite! Where did you get the okie stamp? I live in Saskatchewan and thot it’d be neat to have a sasky stamp
I hand carved all the letters, a stamp would definitely be easier lol. If I can figure out my new 3d printer I’ll be making one .

I think you’re referencing the fire and ice glaze, which is blue and red (fires similar to dragon stone). I’d put a deep red most likely.
Thanks, but I was referring to your daughter Kyla’s dish she used dragon stone glaze and I what would complement that glaze for a liner in a mug
