So after watching this DELICIOUS video I’m now a sub😊 It’s so ironic that I saw this video because I was planning on frying chicken thighs for dinner for my Wife and I tomorrow night. HOWEVER, after watching this video I’m going to try this recipe instead. 💯👍🏽😋😉
This definitely looks like a dish that I would definitely like to make. It’s relatively simple only a few ingredients and best of all 2 pots and less than a half dozen of kitchen utensils. So easy clean up and hopefully sit down to what appears to be a delicious 😋 meal.
No way to know whether you would like it on a sandwich, but I can say that when it's used in this manner, as part of a sauce that has a lot if umami, you won't taste the mustard directly. Its spices and its sourness from the vinegar/white wine are used to season and balance the sauce. Umami, sweet, sour, saltiness, and bitterness are all in that sauce. Without each of those, the sauce would be unbalanced. The mustard flavor itself isn't in the foreground, so you don't taste it directly. She used whole grain Dijon in this recipe, but you could get away with using creamy Dijon if that's all you have.
I made this for dinner tonight, and it was fantastic!!!! My husband and I loved it. I followed your direction exactly, and it was perfect. The only thing I did different was add a lot more tomato paste….probably a half cup and mozzarella cheese all over the top. This recipe is definitely a keeper!
