I'm glad you made a video on this. I have employed a lot of FF14 macros for user accessibility, and any attempts to get help on the forums are usually flooded with "learn to play the class the way I play the class!" and "using macros are the devils work!" comments. This is a great resource for people with accessibility issues (e.g. I was originally making layered macros, an oGCD and GCD as the same button, or conditional GCDs) for an uncle with some immobile fingers, which limited hotkeys he could use). Also, after 10 years, even SE has gotten on board with layer macros, implementing the new Action Change Abilities (a better version of layer macros). Also, I think you could do a follow up for Quality of Life macros, such as crafting macros, or /mount macros, and my personal favorite, macros that switch jobs and UI, so you can turn "Lancer" into it own UI with all other Jobs displayed to otherwise keep your own hotbars clean. Just food for thought!
Hey! Thank you for the note. I agree that macros can be a really helpful resource for all players. Thank you also for the recommendation on future videos, I’ll look into those and create some content for that as well!
This is so cool, thank you - the more videos I watch from your channel, the more great content I find!
Thank you!
