I personally think that a really cool idea could be to have a simple coding system built into the game. So you could make something like "If enemy dies, delete terrain block," or maybe "If coin collected, create terrain block." It doesn't have to be too complicated, but some stuff for basic stuff like making a boss gate. It should also be able to detect player positions or actions. One more simpler suggestion is to make enemies able to drop power-ups.

I don't exactly know how these would work however they would be like story blocks but they could have the story block look like a character and have animations play to make the story blocks a little more lively. Final idea: Characters (not enemies) that follow you around. For a storyline in a game with a team, this could work well I think. I got this idea from the game, DELTARUNE.
Oh! That sounds like fun! I'd love to have more unique NPC interactions outside story blocks, so that would be cool. Though seeing buttons would be nice too. Don't know how they would work though.
I HAVE AN IDEA! What is attack animations where added I was thinking it would work like a new animation frame called attack animation! Where you could animate an attack animation for your character and toggle the option on and off in the character lab to let your character attack or not! So if you don’t want your character to attack you could toggle the option off, but if you did want to trigger the animation when a button is pressed you could toggle the option on in character lab!
Hey, I was wondering. How do people make those turrets? You know, the Fire/Ice/Electric shooting enemies that you can't interact with for whatever reason? I've seen them in a few Top Down games by now, but I can't seem to get them to work myself. Also, what about making a trigger that allows you to change the background in game? Or even something like a mount could be cool... that and maybe having the ability to both Stomp and Shoot. Having a use for that other button in Top-down games would be cool too, I thought of something like a shield or cloak ability, but I'm not sure how that'd work.
@@Bloxels a menu with a world map where you can advance to new levels after finishing them? Ok bad explanation but anyways think like super Mario world a map with the levels on it. Still a bad explanation…
@@Bloxels I would also like to add a health bar, so you could see how close the boss was to dying, with customization options. And before the boss comes maybe a cutscene option when the boss is in a room with you. And aside from boss mode, I would want to see a music creator, so you could make your own music for your game.
