MIYAVI is a musician, actor, and philanthropist, bridging cultures across the globe with his music and message. His unique style of guitar playing has taken him on 8 world tours in over 30 countries. Fans refer to MIYAVI as the “Samurai Guitarist.” He has released 13 studio albums.
In December 2018, MIYAVI released the groundbreaking collaborations album Samurai Sessions Vol. 3: Worlds Collide on Universal Music Group. The stellar list of U.S.-based collaborators included Oscar-nominated actor Samuel L. Jackson, Grammy nominated R&B artist Gallant, Grammy nominated Pop artist Mikky Ekko, Grammy winning producer RAC, Malaysian born R&B songstress Yuna, South Central LA rapper DUCKWRTH, “Hood EDM” rapper Bok Nero, “laptop punk” artist NVDES, and Australian born Pop artist Betty Who.
The Japanese artists featured on the album include a who’s who of chart toppers including Rock artist SHISHIDO KAVKA, Pop artist Daichi Miura, Pop artist Miliyah, rappers Kreva and AK-69, and a posthumous collaboration with iconic singer-guitarist hide (X Japan).
MIYAVI returned to his releasing solo albums with 2019’s NO SLEEP TILL TOKYO kicked off by a concert at Los Angeles Dodgers Stadium followed by the 2020 release of Holy Nights.
MIYAVI made his big screen debut in the Oscar nominated film Unbroken. He has since appeared in the 2017 blockbuster Kong:Skull Island and the live-action adaptation of the popular manga Bleach. His recent filmography includes the films Stray (2019) and Maleficent 2 (2020).
As a brand ambassador, MIYAVI has appeared as the face of Beats headphones in Japan and on billboards worldwide in Moncler’s Beyond campaign. MIYAVI is the brand ambassador for American Airlines, Rakuten Mobile and BMW. In 2020, he was selected to participate in Fender’s Next campaign and in Gucci's Off the Grid campaign along side rapper
Lil Nas X and veteran actress Jane Fonda. He has walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week 2018, modeling designer Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 collection.

I've loved jrock for a long time, but there's simply no one I respect the way I respect Miyavi. One of a kind.

I discovered this dude recently and I’ve got to say: he has one of the most unique and addicting sounds throughout his music. I’ve been slowly digging my way through all of his music for the past week and all of them have something special about them that I’ve fallen in love with.

Omg!!!! I saw Miyavi when he came to USA waaaay back like 2007 or 08 and he was fricking amazing live!! This song is so magical. everytime i try to listen to this, volume magically goes at least %50 higher. Magic.
I regret not finding this man sooner!! I’ve gone down a rabbit hole and I’m obsessed not only with his completely unique sound and style through the years, but seeing his beautiful personality as well. He’s nothing short of amazing, and I’d even say a legend in his own right. His sound and performance in all forms is captivating and learning about him as a person makes you want to stay and never leave.
Using again his already used guitar solo on this song sounds amazing and its a very good choise for recalling!
