  • Another ride on my Super73 S2 on a beautiful, 77-degree, sunny day in Irvine. I headed southwest from my house into Shady Canyon. From there, I rode to the entrance to Bommer Canyon, but I quickly realized that it was a rough, narrow, and somewhat steep dirt trail, which I wasn't prepared to try on my S2. So I headed further west to Bonita Canyon Drive, and then north to Campus Drive and Turtle Rock. I played slalom course with pedestrians, kids on scooters, clueless bicyclists needlessly parked on the bike path, and unexpected construction obstacles. I exited Turtle Rock into the Sand Canyon Wash and ultimately fond my way onto the Juanita Moe bike trail that runs parallel to the 405 Freeway, and then back to Quail Hill my house.
