Minecraft 1.19 was just released so I decided to find 16 of the craziest secret updates in this new update!

The jungle and swamp villagers have been in the game since 1.14. They are unused because the devs realised that jungle and swamp villages simply wouldn't work well with raids thanks to the biomes' layout. Even tho the villagers are unused, they can still spawn if a village generates with a bit inside one of these biomes
that’s sad i really wanted jungle and swamp villages
I think they can also spawn if two villagers have a child inside one of those biomes and the child will have the special skin

Ye I was messing around in a creative jungle when the update came and I spawned in a jungle villager
To be fair. Raids can be messed up in any biom. There has been countless times ill be searching for 15-20 minutes trying to find the last pillager only for him to be in a cave under the village. I think they're just being lazy in that regard, I've made villages in both the bioms and have had the same things happen(less in swamps since I make them in the water). It's not that they can't. It's that they won't. Or won't yet
My favourite has to be that Axolotls and the warden may be related. I wonder how that is since wardens are so far below underground and axolotls are in the water. Perhaps the deep dark used to be flooded in the past.

@@LabyrinthFunkinDev Yes, they will. The only problem is that axolotls move too slow on land to make any noise.
i think wardens are mutated axolotls and if you look at cave axolotls in real life they do kind of like them and maybe the warden just adapted with the problem of the other mobs attacking it like zombies and such. it is possible that they were used for defense by the ancient builders to defend. they may have succeeded but they didn't realize at the time the monster they created. the carpets were most likely added to after as a last ditch effort to not get killed by the warden after the mobs learned to not come to the ancient cities.

+1 secret=you can get the achievement "when the squad hop into the town" by capturing all 3 type of frog from all the different biome using leads

I've actually seen a jungle villager in survival mode. It happens when a regular village spawns REALLY close to a jungle biome.
The first one isn’t true. That either wasn’t a naturally spawning shrieker so that it didn’t spawn the warden or it wasn’t triggered enough times. Torches don’t stop the warden from spawning.

Tested it myself, it doesn’t work
it was a natural spawned shrieker you can tell by the two circling souls if it’s more dim and dull it’s not naturally spawned if it’s not active/shiny it’s natural spawned

The New Paintings Could Be A Secret Message About A New Update Related To The Order Of Them.
Water --> Aquatic Update
Fire --> Nether Update
Earth --> Caves And Cliffs Update
Wind --> Aether Or Unique Sky Dimension Update???
And Similar To How There Is That Portal Structure In The Ruined Cities, And The Disc's "Story" It Might Be Even More Possible That A Update Like That Could Be Possible (:

6:45 Don't get your hopes up, I think what they meant is that the Dragon's death is special because it doesn't just drop to the ground and turn red before disappearing like every other mob, but instead lifts up and disintegrates
Maybe Axolotls aren’t as nice as they seem- or maybe the Warden just loves Axolotls because they’re so friggen cute

You can find secret villagers in survival if one of villages houses is in another biome. Also if a villager is born in a jungle or a swamp.
When you mentioned how the ender dragon doesn't effect the sculk catalyst I noticed that which reminded me of when I was like seven I figured out that the smite enchantment which only effects undead mobs also does more damage to the end dragon, which means that the ender dragon is already dead. 🤔
Yeah but zombies and skeletons activate the catalysts too

the sculk catalyst kinda blends in with the end stone too, which means that maybe they are gonna add something using the ender dragon and sculk catalyst combined

Wait snow and ice room is rare? I’ve only found one ancient city so far in my world and got one! That’s awesome!
Btw the ice room one has a meaning when you see the dark oak towers it means one thing pillagers the pillagers explored the ancientcity and the ancient builders trapped them in that ice room

the jungle and swamp villagers were actually in the game since the village update its not a new feature at all
The secret villagers appear when a village spawns in between a biome where villages can spawn and a swamp/jungle. However, it’s very rare

The swamps and forest villagers have most likely been there since the pillage and village update
In 1.16 i was playing with my friend and then we saw a planes village next to a swamp. And half the village was just swamp villagers. We did not know how rare that was at the time
I like the boss paintings meep and maybe the portal in ancient city is a portal to a dimension harder than twighlight forest
The top of the skulk block may be representing the portal to the end.

IMO, the Warden is a corrupt axolotl or smth, because the "axolotls are not what they seem", could be that in the universe of Minecraft, axolotls were like possesed or someone could have thrown a spell on them, wich made the axolotl race "not what they seem" as said by the devs.
Perhaps, just perhaps, the Warden doesn't kill the axolotls because he IS one.
But yeah, thats just a theory...

The Ender-Dragon death being "Special" leads me to believe that maybe Mojang will make a "Hardmode" once you kill the ender-dragon. Kinda like terraria, certain mobs will now spawn, along side certain ores, and other stuff. It'd be cool to see if they update the game to make it change after the Dragon's death.

The one about the secret disc is very interesting
I went into one of those ice rooms in sir oval world and 2 of them had THREE SHRIEKERS AND 2 SCULK SENSORS
For minecraft lore I think that it will be complete in the final minecraft update or in another minecraft game like minecraft legends
The Jungle and Swamp Villagers have been in the game since the Village & Pillage update. Why they exist is still to be answered.
I think the warden has so much health because it’s not supposed to be beat or killed, it’s supposed to be out run and out smarted.
It still has drops but yeah it has lots of health to discourage players from running through the city or killing the warden

I just noticed the blue axolotl might not be a pokémon easter egg it might be a warden type of axolotl so the two combined throat will change axolotls in minecraft forever

Some of these are before 1.19 and also are very much not secrets. Also the paintings could represent the first four vote mobs.
Water, the Barnicle.
Wind, the Phantom.
Ground, the Great Hunger.
Fire, the Wildfire.
I feel like matpat's minecraft theories are correct about the deep dark

The torches don’t stop the warden from spawning it’s only after four shrieks does the warden spawn
The paintings were only added to Java however they’ve been in bedrock edition for a long time.
Plus you arranged them wrong it’s water earth fire and air also the wither and the ender dragon are the only two true boss mobs
technically a ghast attacking another ghast is the strongest mob in the game if that doesn’t count then a charged creeper is the strongest mob
The swamp and jungle villagers have been in the game since 1.16 they can technically spawn naturally if the player builds their own village in that biome or if a naturally spawning village overlaps with one of the two biomes
The one about swamp and jungle villagers has been around for many updates already. Wasn't unique to 1.19

2:30 i think, if there was a mega boss warden, it would be called the "Keeper", and would be the warden on steroids and can summon wardens as its minions, and wardens can heal it if it gets low, the key is to keep the wardens distracted so they are chasing you and dont have time to heal the keeper. it could also shoot a mega death laser that is equivalent to 100 simultaneous sonic booms.

Is it rare that in the first ancient city I came across, it was two ancient cities combined together and both had the pillager and ice things?

thinking good, i think ancient city was a very happy city, but the pillagers attacked it, the warden had to hide, maybe he was weak so the pillagers started to extract all ores from the city area but then the warden showed up stronger than never and killed em all now hes alone at the city :
I think the ice box structure in the ancient city is like a meat cellar. My theory
For the swamp villager I could be that all the villagers where struck by lightning and turned into witches which I how the witch huts got there and why they are found in swamps only
I have a theory something doesn't add up either A the end has been removed or B that secret feature could possibly be hinting at the end being an open world meaning the Portal in the Warden city could be the next Wither Storm maybe even a Warden realm with powerful wardens which could destroy Minecraft as a whole or maybe the portal in the wardens base will show us the past for the wardens.

I think the rare room in the Ancient City is a refrigerator room because they store food items in it.
