Don't know how it is in other countries in europe - but in germany you can get tap-water. You have to specifically ask for, though. It's kind of a "hot topic", since it is very unusual. At the restaurant I am working at it's no problem to get tap water for free if you order wine or coffee, for example (you'd still have to ask for it). But we'd charge a "service fee", if you don't order any other drinks. We'd make some exceptions if it's a very hot day or you just need some water to take medicine or whatever. I don't know if you noticed, but in france they have tip included in the bill. It's still appreciated, but not really expected. So maybe that's also part of the reason why they don't charge you anything for the tap-water. It's different in germany. We don't have a service charge in our bill. It is still up to you if you want to tip for service. If the service was fine, you should at least give a 5%.
In France, tap water is free (by law) with a meal. If you don't have a meal though, you may have to pay for it but it needs to be clearly stated in the price list.
True. What I learned in my HRM class, entree is appetizer and that made sense. That's why I get a little confused at first when ordering here in the US
Wow! Well done on broadening your tastes there RJ! That’s so brave to try unfamiliar, different foods. Proud of you! Also, you guys look so smart! I’m loving the outfits today! Great video, enjoyed it.
I just love your vlogs. I have never thought about visiting France until now lol. I am so excited to see how your farm develops. I have the same farm dream.
OK... first... I've had both French and Japanese (and Italian, Spanish, Croatian, Arabian and American) deserts... Japanese deserts, far and away the best... now.. I must say that I have fallen in love with RJ... reserved, calm and collected all the time... (LOL) a perfect balance between you two.
Rj- Picky eater like a bird. Mikey- will at least try everything like my old Golden Retriever dog. Also me- Oh my, you found Lindt chocolate! I love it especially around the holidays.
I can’t wait to see the famous Eiffel Tower again! 😍 Paris is the most beautiful & romantic place to visit. I love staring at the old buildings, so full of histories. So glad that Mikey is so very adventurous especially with food (w/ the exception one thing he ate at another vlog which came from a cave). Mikey made me laughed so loud after RJ tried the steak tartare! “Are the planets aligned in some configurations”? 🤣 So proud of you RJ in stepping out of the box & trying something new to delight your tastebuds! Yolo right? Loving this European trip & Paris is the one place I have been waiting for from your vlog. Enjoy the rest of your stay & happy shopping at Les Galeries LaFayette! It’s Amazing!!! ❤️
OMG!! 😍😍 I absolutely loved seeing the Effile Tower!!! Thank you so very much Mikey for sharing this amazing Europe Trip!! It's been a amazing adventure for sure. Hope y'all have a safe trip back home. The food looked absolutely amazing as well!!! 😍😊😉 That restraunt was absolutely gorgeous!!! 😍 The footage as always is amazing!! Great job Mikey. Keep up the great and amazing work Mikey and RJ. Love y'all and you both have looked amazing during the Euro Trip. Thank you, to their stylist (sorry not sure how to spell her name). Have a amazing day today and have a amazing time today!!! 😊😉 YOUR #1 FAN ~ Amanda Mandigo
Oh god! I wish I knew you where in Paris, I would really like to meet you :) Your work is so good. Wish you the best and hello to all the AC family! A French friend
escargo-so was it buttery? garlicy/ thyme/parsley/ you said pesto-so pine nuts? glad you tried it- I haven't made it years- good snails hard to find in the US. (RJ needs an apple tart haha) everything loooks dilicious (not so much the steak tartar- not so into getting vCJD-lol- heard they have one with horse?) I will think the Japanese desserts but my great grandma made the best desserts- she was from Belgium- but them stawberrys- omg-looks so yummy- Hope you are caught up on your sleep by now- this trip has been so fun to watch- the daily anticipation -augh- love it.
These vlogs were so fun. I’m a bit behind due to vacation but the desert question is hard but I think the Japanese might have the best dessert but it’s soo close
Sometimes you have to splash out on a fancy meal. But most times, speaking of London, the more expensive restaurants we tend to go for set menus. Eating in fancy restaurants on a cheap and tap water in a shiny glass with some lemon. Best of both worlds, I’d say. 😂
I love pesto and escargot! I'll pass with the steak tartare 😁 you were hilarious 🤣 and I was surprised too that RJ tasted the raw beef. I love Japanese desserts more than French desserts 😉
I totally agree RJ, shouldn't have to have a saw to eat bread!! A good crust yes but feeling stale bread NO. BTW you are looking very handsome both of you are in your new fashion.
back in the 90's I've seen those golden escargot shells (empty) being sold in Rustan's Makati. I wish someday I could taste those buttery pesto escargot.
RJ Garcia ur so white and flawless! mistiso sobrang cute and gwapo. Erin ur so beautiful, kind and sweet girl your parents are the same too. Love the desserts! thank u guys..
Wow you went to the Eiffel Tower and didn't even go up? I've been all the way to the top but my gran chickened out and only went to the first floor lol.... the views are incredible, shame you didn't get to see it.
Your waiter is saying, "Tarte Abricots" which means "apricot tart" 😁 I remember the Mr. Bean Steak Tartare! lol I hope you guys got to try other Haute Cuisine. RJ didn't seem to be too enthused about the snails or the salmon. (Escargot served w/ garlic, butter, parsley) *edit: I need to watch the whole thing before commenting lol
THOSE SNAILS WE USED TO PICK THEM. UP IN THE RICE FIELDS MY MOM COOK THEM I ONLY EAT THE HEAD CAUSE THE BACK TASTE BITTER FOR ME . AND I BET THEY ARE EXPENSIVE
Do a video called "Traveling Overseas Beginner's Guide" do this for those who do not how to travel or do this for those do not know what is the requirements for travelling overseas

Fun fact of the day: you can get a Copyright Strike for taking a Video or Photo of the Eifel Tower during the night, because the Light-Show visible during the night ist protected by Copyright laws
Mikey Bustos Vlogs - Well it's free for personal use and the copyright holders never enforced copyright protection for TH-cam videos, which would be a terrible move anyway
Mikey... Is there ANY food you DON'T like lol..... Seriously everything you have eaten you say "wow, yum, die-lious" where as the others will either give a look or will say they don't like it ... just wondering.... love you all and love your vlogs
