Missy I don't know if you realize how much you are helping so many in so many ways. I've said this to you before and I'm going to say it again. You are a blessing and I know God has his hands on you guiding you and I feel this is what he wants you to do. Carol did a fantastic job telling her story. Carol I too have a son that was in active addiction for 15 years. The Lord answered our prayers as well. My son is doing great now but I will forever be holding my breath and keeping my eyes wide open. Thanks for sharing.

As I raise my granddaughter and watch this video, I am relating to everything Carol says. Especially about saving herself. An addict needs to know that mom and dad are not forever lifelines…they deserve to have happy, stress free lives. My daughter is no longer in my life. She sees my granddaughter very infrequently. I have gotten custody…and I struggle to keep up with a 14 year old at age 77, but I love my granddaughter and we have a happy home together. My daughter is an adult, and her choices no longer negatively affect us every day.
TY Missy, I needed to hear this. We had to kick our son out of the house. We were getting swallowed up in his addiction also. Tough love sucks but we trust in our Lord.
Hello you TWO BEAUTIFUL strong mommas !! I agree we should NEVER ever abandon our children especially when they are at their lowest worst possible place in their lives. Yes I do understand they might be a need for TOUGH love absolutely !! We can’t assist them while they are slowly killing themselves, self medicating ! God Bless you your son’s, precious grandchildren and your families. You are BOTH truly examples of mother’s who can actually give unconditional LOVE. You are earthly ANGELS 👼 💞👼
