Yea, those intersecting lands in the fields is a real pain. I bought one field in a previous save and was trying to plow through, and, at least in that field, you couldn't plow them. Was like 'Really?!? WTH. So, watch for that when you get to that time frame.
Since it just shows 'Aug' and not Aug 1. The first month is going to be a single day. Think it is suppose to change the next season, but could be wrong.
