Hi, the reason you see the Type 56 here is because that was what the armourers had for hire (they are rental blank firing guns).. the AKMS was mostly a specialized gun at this point for special forces.. :)
The forum became less and less active (like with a lot of forums due to Facebook etc) and the owner and only guy who could do maintenance on it didn't care anymore.. So it went down and stayed down sadly.. there is still a Facebook page but that's not all that active either.
FW200 What permits or licences do you need to own one and who do you buy the guns off? I've been looking for a blank firing AK47 for ages but can't find one.
Triangle Videography Hi, you can't buy these. In the UK these fall under the section 5 firearms act.. These were rented from a company specializing in weapons for movies, training and events like these. They're not blank firing like you can have with pistols, built to only fire blanks and vent the gasses up or out of the breech, instead they are live firearms with the barrel modified only to fire blank rounds (full power military blanks)...
+Leon Peng Indeed :) There was a Hungarian one around as well.. but this weapon hire company mostly has Chinese Ak's (PKM/PKT's were Chinese as well)..
