Plants vs Zombies is back in an all-new adventure that will test your zombie defense skills! Filled with plants and zombies new and old with the PvZ combat you’ve come to know and love. It’s the wildest PvZ yet that will have you rebuilding Neighborville while fighting against the wackiest zombies to date. I remember watching the Super Mario 3D Land play through over 12 years ago. Its insane how fast time flies, and its insane that he keeps uploading. The nostalgia is strong dude. I’m also glad that the newer gens are enjoying your content just as much as i did back then. Keep it up!
Appreciate having read a comment like yours because I relate wholeheartedly. I was still in my 20s when I first discovered Zack playing NES Zelda, and then followed him and Ashley for many, many years. I more or less quit watching TH-cam of any kind for nearly 5 years straight and to hear him still chugging along is a little mind-blowing, yet good for him, you know? Zack's earned his reputation. I do miss the beloved Egon and his brother Otto that passed before him.

She appeared in the graphic novels PvZ. She was a cool character but design always threw me off. Thank goodness they redesigned it and gave her a more appealing style.

@@thefbi3350 In the Graphic Novels, Patrica wore the same attire but a bit of a bob cut hair style and wore slippers. I dunno if its the art style itself but her design just felt a little...imbalanced or off, too me anyway.

All the good memories are flooding back! Hope this game experiences the same success levels as the other 2 games and I hope we see more brilliant episodes from Zack. For old time's sake.
We all hope that, but it won't. It lacks everything that the old games had that was good and fun. The interesting levels, the "choose your plants", the artstyle is horrible, it has all the awful mobile game shenanigans. I played and finished pvz1 10 times. I won't play this game when it comes out.

Reasons why the game is bad
- you can’t choose your own plants
- the game is trying to be knockoff of gardenscapes and those other crappy mobile games
- there are barely any plants and zombies
- peashooter was nerfed for so no reason at all
- MICRO-TRANSACTIONS R BACK
- the game literally holds your hand the entire time you play, giving you tutorials on how to use EVERY. SINGLE plant and level gimmick.
- the lore is kinda boring and forgettable
- Apparently Bonk Choy and Cabbage Pult are OP in this game for some reason.
- the bird feeder zombie
- the new artstyle kinda sucks tbh
- They somehow ruined vasebreaker and made it ridiculously easy
- the game treats you as tho you don’t know how to play the game
- Cherry bomb, jalapeño and Chilly pepper are power ups now and not plants you can’t put on your lawn now.
- the almanac is not in this game…
- pretty much of the new plants from the first PVZ 3 are no where to seen in this game.

@@imspoilerina9228 Ya I was taken back going I just tried Lily Garden game an see this as pretty much copy an paste. With pvz skin an art an story being the only work. It that kind of stuff is made to be a lazy cash grab right? I like to think Im a decent pvz fan an this seems like a disrespectful sequel compared to 1 an 2. If it was it was more Original I be more fair with my criticism.
Normally I'm a huge fan of getting to create your own area but it feels empty.
You get three generic designs to pick from on designated areas it just feels limited an boring.

I care about the other stuff but I specifically care about the variety of plants and zombies this game gets. They also needa introduce new plants and new plant abilities tho so it differs from pvz 2 (which atp is just spam reusing the same abilities because they kinda ran out)
I love the story aspect of the new game. I was literally thinking how cool it would be if they introduced Patrice and Nate into the games, and they did. I was a huge fan of the comic when I was little.
This game is homescapes and PVZ combined. Kinda sad to see this change from PVZ 2 to 3

@@ToxicPea my man , you should have seen the alpha beta versions , they are not good. This one doesnt seem too different from them. Also its just the first game game simplified and stylized + gardenscapes or whatever. Not something new and fresh. But lets see if they have made any changes since the earlier versions.

I can't wait for this to come out and I'm glad Zack is playing it. PvZ2 level gimmicks, art style and plants are great. I think PvZ3 new levels, level gimmicks and plants will get me excited.

This is the soft launch and it's to get feedback on the game before the full launch and since alot of people are complaining about the fact that you can't pick your plants they'll probably change that in the full launch alongside the lives system which people aren't fans of

Hi Zack. Let me say that I’m a big fan of yours. I’ve discovered you all the way back when you did the very first video for Plants vs Zombies 2 and I’ve been watching ever since. Very excited to watch you play Plants vs Zombies 3. 😀
I guess this "final build" of the game is...fine...but I feel like there's still some things that stink of either corporate laziness or lack of depth.
Like, you don't seem to "earn" the new seed packets you use in the first starting battles like you did in PvZ 1 and some levels of PvZ 2. That helped you feel accomplished and made you wonder how the new plant would fit into your strategy and the game as a whole.
The "lawn" feels like it's been squished down to 75% of its original size compared to the previous two games. Like, I know the new artstyle means new backgrounds and such, but they gave the top, bottom, and sides of the screen too much real estate with it. Like, if you wanted to show that off in its entirety, you could do a "zoom out" view of the entire lawn and the zombies preparing to attack like PvZ 1 & 2 did before you picked your plants, and THEN zoom in closer to the lawn where the real battle would begin with the edge of the right side of the screen showing that purple mist that the zombies would come out of.
I don't wanna say these things to be rude or mean-spirited, but because I WANT to see this game succeed and do better than both PvZ 1 & 2 COMBINED! Plants Vs. Zombies is iconic and fun and awesome and I don't want to see it "die" like this!

Adding salt to injury, the ranked match is pay to win due to instas are paid and zombies give points depend on which column they are killed (like arena pvp) instead everybody's wanted xbox version of PvZ's versus mode where it's isn't pay to win and can actually strategize to win.

Yeah, having read the comments it’s not clear to me that kids will eat anything up these days. The devs haven’t implemented any requested feature since last beta, it’s clearly a cash grab with its superpowers being paid for. It’s sad to see the community being excited about getting spat in the face.

Wow, this is upsetting. PvZ started out as an indie game with a small team of passionate developers, and now it's just another one of EA's cash grabs. Soulless art design, copy-pasted "gameplay", nearly everything is now monetized, etc. So sad to see this franchise milked for every penny instead of just dying.
