    I love how easy basic tapping is. I'm a pianist, not a guitarist, but I can pick up an electric and sound like a shredding rock star with almost no effort thanks to tapping. If only sweep picking were just as effortless...

      I'm learning sweep picking right now. The way to make it fast and seemingly effortless is to take a lick, maybe a 5 string one, and start practicing it with a 100 bpm metronome. The next day practice again but at 101, then 102 and so on. After 100 days you'll be surprised of how fast you can play, and the learning process is actually effortless to the player, once he/she learns the right technique. Try it, and i'll swear you'll become fast af

      They are not it’s just that he adds vibrato to it

    • @jeffro.
      @jeffro. ปีที่แล้ว

      No!
      No bending, just pull off.
      Adding vibrato will help with sustain....
      No bending, but you do want to pull your finger slightly to the side when you pull it off, so that you're catching (grabbing with) the callus of your finger, then snapping it off. That helps with the volume.
      But not bending.
