So sorry about Miles, I hope you’re doing alright.
I would love to see a video about mites, (and I have a question), I got my little Robo (named Gizmo) some treatment and it’s still on its way, I was wondering if I should move him into the bin cage before it comes, or just wait another 2-3 days for the shipment to get here before moving him in?

Ooo yeah maybe I will do a podcast just about mites! Great idea.
What’s the treatment? You said it was from small pet select?
Hmm. I think I would move him in a new bin and place Vaseline on the top edge of the bin so the bugs don’t spread further. Then you can begin disinfecting his regular enclosure, the room and other items. Once he gets his first treatment, then I would do a new bin cage.
I would use caution ⚠️ with the treatment though- I’ve heard people try to self treat and hurt their hamsters. If you have an exotic vet nearby who can do the dosing, that would be best!

@@RachelGotHamsters Yeah, the treatment I got is like a gel/ointment that you gently rub onto them and is supposed to be “so safe you can lick it right off your finger” which is interesting considering how many things say stuff like “don’t get it in your eyes”, “don’t eat it” “don’t touch it with your bare hands” and stuff like that. It’s like; why would I want to give that to my pet? But this one is supposed to be very safe so I’m hoping it works.

Hey I’ve got a question for you! How do you post podcasts on TH-cam? I have a small pet channel with my hamsters and bunny and started a podcast on Spotify called Hailey’s small pet podcast for more publicity and so I can share stuff I don’t have time to share In a video and one of my subscribers asked if I could post them on TH-cam and I didn’t know how lol so if you do then that’s great but if it’s a bit more complicated then don’t worry about it!

Hi! Yeah hmm, how did I do it… well it’s best if your audio has an image attached to it- so bring the file into premier or Final Cut or whatever video editing software you use. I record audio directly into my video software and just keep a static image.
Then when you upload I think there must be a category I chose that’s “podcast”
And then I created a playlist also. I feel like it was very intuitive, I didn’t look it up and I can’t even remember now how I did it!
