Fun fact: A fight between a witch and a skeleton will also never end. The witch will heal the arrow damage, and the skeleton is immune to splash potions of harming.
The witch just can't get 9 blocks away to hit the zombie. It's undead, so splash/lingering potions of both harming & poison are ineffective. (Potions of Harming & Healing are reversed for undead mobs)
true never thought about the fact that undead mobs are immune to potion of harming ect.
@@OddDuck64 technically the skeleton and witch fight would be one sided as the witch would only attack the skeleton as the witch cant actually hurt the skeleton so the skeleton wont aggro
@@Quaintous If you make the skeleton shoot the witch, it will aggro on the witch. I saw one fighting in my survival world.

If you drop a sword in bedrock for a zombie or skeleton, they may rarely drop their weapon with full durability. This means you can get a sword skeleton without commands. Similarly, dropping a nautilus shell for a trident drowned will guarantee a full durability trident.
Also if you find a zombie with armour if you turn it into a drown you can get all armour full durability I did it on a full diamond zombie once (bedrock only)

Fun fact: you hold the frame of the bow with your non-dominant hand and pull the string with the dominant hand. Since most skeletons are holding it in their right hand, they’re actually mostly left-handed.

In this case the only thing skeletons really do is merc you with bows so until I see a minecraft skeleton doing literally anything else, it's left handed.
The secret message about the axolotls is almost certainly a reference to Gravity Falls. Not only is the show famous for the many hidden coded messages scattered throughout both the show and accompanying materials, but there's an episode in season two called "Not What He Seems" and one of the more well-known and iconic bits of hidden lore is the existence of a mysterious god-like being known as the Axolotl.

Actually it could also be a reference to the incredibly strange tv show with a cult following called Twin Peaks. One of the plot points in the show is that " The owls are not what they seem." I don't want to spoil much because it is totally a great show and you should watch it if you can.

Mojang also had the mo creatures guy help, and they took the left shift dismount from the mod as well. Later on, they ended up using the left shift for other things, such as minecarts, boats, etc. You used to just right click to get out again.

13:52 the thing about bows is that right-handed people hold the bow in their left hand and pull the string with their right hand. So Mojang technically got it backwards with 89% of them being left-handed and 11% being right-handed
You're talking about people. These are skeletons, which are undead, so when they use a bow, which is meant to make things be dead, they use them backwards.

Fun fact: snow golems can still naturally generate, a enderman has to pick a carved pumpkin from a pillager outpost and walk all the way to a snow biome and place it perfectly

Fun fact in some older versions of minecraft the flame effect would work through torches as well. Meaning you could fire an arrow thru a torch and it will set a blaze
41:02 I actually did archery for a year during my freshmen year of high school, and I have to say, the falling slightly to one side is accurate.
I'm right handed, and right eye dominant, which means I hold the bow in my left hand and pull the string/arrow back with my right. I'd actually notice that when shooting, if I was trying to aim directly at the target, my arrow would end up going down and to the right, usually, from that spot.
So, whether intentional or just a weird quirk of coding, that part is technically accurate!

The enchanting alphabet is SGA from Commander Keen, so it was made about 20 years before minecraft and was used more broadly, so it having all letters makes perfect sense.

Well, in the Bedrock edition, the Wither's health is now based on the difficulty of the game; 300 on easy, 450 on normal, and 600 on hard mode. I think it was 600 by default on the older versions in BE

I think the game is just trying to figure out what to do with a tamed dog who has no owner. Tamed wolves don’t attack sheep unless their owner tells them to, and this dogs owner doesn’t exist, but also you can’t tame him because he’s already in the tamed state.
Edit: Made some more discoveries!
I tried using the same command with “cat” instead of “wolf” and while the cat doesn’t completely change colours like the dog, it still exists in that state of having an owner that doesn’t exist. It won’t follow me or let me make it sit and can’t be tamed, BUT is has a collar that can be dyed
After seeing the dyeable collar on the cat, I had a hunch and made my second discovery: THE DOG IS DYEABLE. You can use dye to change the hue of the entire dog. Mine is brown now and I named him bacon

Here's a other fact about cakes!: On Mojang's 10th birthday, Cakes has the "10" Candle on them when placed. But like so you can change your PC'S Time to get the Christmas chest block back but
not the cake, meaning its the first fully block that got removed. And, The cake stayed for 3 days until removed.
One in bedrock, I had a glitch that made the trident and spyglass completely messed up. The more... interesting part was that when I used the spyglass, it positioned itself perfectly in a particularly southern spot.

did you know that the stone cutter is actually accurate to a real live stone cutter? in the game I see many TH-camrs say that the stone cutters does not damage you and it doesn't make sense while in actuality real stone cutters are incable of hurting you. you see stone cutters while really made out of steel is just a steel disk without any blade or teeth thus it is incapable of cutting flesh but it cut hard stone pretty easily
but don't go pressing your finger on a stone cutter. it doesn't hurt you when you just touch it if you press on the disk it will hurt you

About the Witch VS Witch thing, you can also get Evokers or Pillagers to accidentally hit Witches. This causes a brawl between the Witch & the Illager who hit it. Funny thing is that once the fight begins, all other nearby Illagers & Witches immediately agro on the other (Ravagers included), causing an all-out war between the village's 2 outcast factions.
Edit: Evokers are more likely to both trigger this fight & hit multiple Witches at the same time
One interesting feature is that you can survive a deadly fall while riding a horse with neither of you taking damage, but both of you will take damage if you're not riding it during the fall

It’s a Twin Peaks reference. But the creator of Gravity Falls was a huge fan of the show and it’s pretty clear considering how similar they both are.
Fun fact: The phrase "The Axolotl are not what they seem" is probably inspired by the 90s cult series Twin Peaks, where the main character has a dream about the mysterious Twin Peaks and a giant enters his dream and tells him that "The owls are not what they seem". This phrase is very important as they cary a heavy secret to the universe that is Twin Peaks. Must be some TP-fans over there at Mojang.
The fact that it's axolotls specifically is also likely a reference to Gravity Falls, where not only is the phrase "not what [he] seems" also iconic, but there's a mysterious god-like being called the Axolotl (who, fittingly, looks like a massive axolotl).

Fun fact:you actually never touched anything,that's because atoms can't touch each other(unless you are inside a neutron star where the pressure and gravity are so strong that atoms don't have an option other than touch each other),they are always repelling each other,so if you consider you are made of atoms,you are actually floating.

But having your atoms close enough to push other atoms is basically the definition of touching. Also, atoms in neutron stars don't really touch, their nuclei combine, so in a way, the core of a neutron star is one giant atom

7:16 this happened with me and my cousin, he had a villager farm under ground, it was then struck by lighting, we went to go trade with the villagers then all of the villagers were now witches, it resulted with a.. very chaotic fight

@@franzicoy No he didn't, He didn't want to go through the process of rebreeding all the villagers and getting to get them good trades. So i ended up making a new villager farm more deeper underground.
You can carry around even more materials with the help of an enderchest. My enderchest is always almost full of shulkerboxes, so I can basically carry around my hole base all the time. With colors and different names, you can give them, I can always sort everything, I got.
4:54 I somehow found pigstep randomly going through the nether from a woodland masion, found 2 bastions next to each other and found it.

my personal theory on what “axolotls are not what they seem” means is that it’s a gravity falls reference. the words “not what they seem/not what he seems” are motifs throughout the series, and axolotls make a notable appearance in bill cipher’s last words. plus, encoded messages like the one in minecraft show up all over the show! probably a crackpot theory, but there’s not much to go off of, so i’m going with it.

Seeing the PC Gaming world at 1:40 was like a blast from the past. I keenly remember playing it over and over again. The world would delete itself after an hour and a half or so. I would remember where things like diamonds were and would immediately seek them out when I restarted the world. It got annoying after a while though. You could only do so much in 90 minutes. Then I found a glitch in the matrix that allowed you to reset the time but not the world meaning you could keep playing without the world resetting. Between this and Minecraft Classic which was available in browser on the old Minecraft website. I was able to experience Minecraft for free until I got a visa gift card to buy a code. Ah….memories
