I have been using the k669 for five years and paired with a pop filter it's great for voiceovers. But I recently started getting more noise feedback in my recordings and I figured I will try the Ampligame A6V ....and now I am in the process of returning the A6v. They're both "good", but they are for different purposes. The A6V is more for gaming and appears to lack some detail in the audio recording graph that the k669 picks up. If you're doing voiceovers or you just want high quality studio audio then go with the k669 and add a pop filter to it. If you're doing gaming and you don't need as much fine detail in your audio recording, then get the A6V.
Good comparison. Really interesting to hear the differences between the two. I got my A8 a few days ago in White and man it's beautiful and very happy with the sound quality
@@YourFckingFBIAgent Still absolutely the A6V! The quality difference between the two mics is the difference between getting clients and not getting them. It's more future-proofed for whatever you plan to do with it.
Thank you for this review. The a6 is actually only 4 euros more expensive so I was contemplating whether that was worth it. I saw that the 669 also came with a pop filter that goes all the way around it. Would that also stop keyboard sounds more compared to only the windscreen on the a6 or would that not make any difference?
You're welcome! The pop filter would technically. reduce the sound every so slightly, but you wouldn't be able to make out the difference. Its primary purpose is minimizing burts of air, but it does not minimize noise.
Do you think K669B is good enough for gaming and talking to friends in discord? Tbh i don't like the looks of the A6V rgb or are there any other good mic like A6V (same price) with customizable rgb or even non rgb?
@@Speerrow03 then the K669b would be your best bet if you don’t like rgb. If people have recorded commercials on it, it should be good for Discord use!
Hi! Could you recomend me a budget friendly (50-60 dolars) mic? I want to record online lessons and educational songs. I would need something that makes the audio sound profesional, and it's also able to record instrumentals.
Both are pretty fine for voice recording, so it depends on the character of your voice. If it's dark, then the A6V. If it's bright or even harsh, definitely the K669B
If you don't mind the RGB that can't be turned off, the A6V could be slightly better for vocals at this price point for its less heavy bass. But if your voice is pretty high-pitched already, then the K669B could be a better fit than A6V. Though neither of them is perfect for vocals.
Tbh, you happened to choose between two mics that are quite similar. Both of them are condenser mics with a bit of heavy bass, thus both do a decent job at background rejection compared to other condenser ones. Neither of them has the mute button if that matter to you. But the K669B has a mic volume dial, which could be convenient in the gaming scenario, and most importantly, the build quality of the K669B beats the Seiren Mini.
If your use environment is quiet, A6V could be better for VO work. Otherwise, K669B could fit better. But since both of them are sensitive condenser mics, both can pick up a clear voice.
Do you think the K669b is still worth it?😊
You should review the new k669 pro3
@@Amutomoto Looking into it :)

@@felixamankwah1983 I was able to with an OTG adapter, but your phone has to support OTG.
The k669b is superb back on the days when all cheap mics are so trash the the k699 is the only one worth it
That's true!
@@DaveSoltura btw the fifine amplytank is only 45-50$ here in Philippines and i don't know why hahahaha
what about nowadays? what are the cheap mics that sound good
@@7nfrared go check fifine and maono they have new mics and everything is good, super cheap compared to gaming brands

Great idea! The Fifine K669 Pro 1 also has a pop filter.
i think its nice ngl, but the fixed cable just killed me. nice video man, you got a new subscriber
first thing i would do is open the microphone and cut the cable or circuit line powering the rgb
Bro just put a mic cover

Yes!! Absolutely. If you can choose between the A6V and A8, the A8 is the winner in my book!
couldnt really hear a difference between the two mics, both sound good imo
which one should i buy for me the k669b is 35 dollars and the a6v is 43 dollars which would u say is better for the price?

Hello do you think steelseries sonar could remove the background noise?
I would like to sing, most specifically pop or rap, which one would you recommend? I was told that the a6v sounds better
A6v would be better, but look into the Ampligame AM8 and see if it's within budget. That would prevent more pops and plosives in your audio.
