Ok Tik Tom recipes... I’ve got one for you. I saw this Gordon Ramsey reacts video where the folks were making “fake wagyu” steaks. They made them by grounding cheaper meat and fat and adding gelatin and then cooking them sou vide. You have tried real wagyu before, so I am curious if this works from your opinion. That sounds interesting. But if they're using ground meat, how would it be different from just a burger patty with added fat? The reason why Wagyu is great is because you get the fat marbling in the form of a steak.
Are you sure it was gelatin? Theres a powder I'm not sure of the real name but cooks call it meat glue. It's used to stick scraps together to make one bigger cut of meat. People have also stuck together differing meats with similar cook times & temps. It looks like it would be so much fun to experiment with!

@jay I wouldn't be surprised, she's got a lot of subscribers, gets lots of views and is incredibly friendly and everyone likes her too so putting that into her own show would easily give her own show high ratings. Another problem with doing her own show is she may even need to leave her home to do it and she wouldn't leave her family.

It reminds me of a cartoon animated series called 'Cloud Bread' 구름빵 that is made in Korea, I used to watch the cartoon a lot and it was about two cats eating cloud bread and flying to help people and learn a new lesson.

The cloud bread i was familiar with from a while back was actually cream cheese softened and mixed with egg yolk then folded into whipped egg whites and baked. I've never seen this version before but was interesting none the less
If you use cream cheese and egg whites only it comes out even less eggy and fluffier. I made rolls before with that modification and never went back to the recipe with yolks.

I’ll be honest. Hello fresh is amazing we used it for a while! Only issue I found was that a lot of the same things for the weeks so there’s a lot of the same meals just a different sauce. But it’s really good. I enjoyed it! Just so we can get a real opinion on someone who isn’t sponsored in any way ☺️
Hello Fresh was pretty tasty for my bf and I, we both enjoyed it. Even though I messed up the first 2 boxes and just dumped all the separately packaged ingredients together. Apparently, they don't all come pre-measured! Lol.
There were some meals that I've liked enough to remake, but the produce has gone bad faster than other boxes I've tried and there certainly weren't many vegetarian options

Lisa Cofrancesco That’s why you need a flavoring oil. They are much stronger than extracts, I got strawberry flavor from Walmart and it masks the egg taste pretty well.

More sugar, some vanilla extract or other flavoring, lower heat in the oven and let it stay in for a long time to dry out and BOOM you got a huge meringue. If you're making smaller meringues for like cake decoration and don't want to risk them getting burned you can use a dehydrator. I set mine to 70 degrees celsius (158 Fahrenheit) and let it completely dry out. Works like a charm.
But angel food cake is an ACTUAL cake with flour, this is just a meringue :D Pavlova is a much better dessert if you like meringue, with whipped cream and fruits as toppings

I made it yesterday, ITS NOT LIKE BREAD TRUST ME. It’s more like a merengue mixed with a marshmellow, it has the consistency of cotton candy. And it’s REALLY sugary. It’s not good and my stomach began to hurt after 3 bites. Would not recommend.
I wouldn’t necessarily say that’s true. She has had her share of flops with some recipes, but I like that she keeps going, and she doesn’t give up! She always tries to get to the closest resemblance with every recipe! 🖤

Yes, she finds a way to get a great end result but it's not done without a lot of sweat and tears. The "egg" flavor does go away with time! I made something very similar to this often and I prefer to save it in the fridge for the next day. My version uses almond flour, and no sugar. The idea is you can put anything on/with it, so it can be sweet or savory.
It's funny because when I've seen variations of this bread, it is savory. An keto bread. So the whole time I was wondering if I could add rosemary to the bread. I wish that you had sampled the bread the next day
I just made this and I love it. I did make a couple of changes though. I substituted Erythritol sweetener for the sugar (because keto) and I added a tsp of Almond Extract and a few drops of vanilla for flavoring. It came out tasting similar to a big marshmallow and wasn't the least bit eggy. The texture was reminiscent of marshmallow as well, so if you are expecting a bread or cotton candy texture your going to be disappointed. When I make this again, I'm going to do a bunch of little drops instead of one big loaf as the best part is the slightly crispy outer shell. Also going to try pairing it with a square of dark chocolate for a keto version of a s'more.

Snoreball the free recipes online are definitely a great bonus, all that’s stop anyone from saving a it more money is a bit of will power to go to the shop on their own and get the same ingredients, I used yellow Fresh for several months and then couldn’t afford it so when I started shopping it was so much cheaper, I really don’t think it’s worth it tbh. But if it helps you to cook and you don’t mind the extra money then go ahead 😊😊
I’ve been looking at recipes of this all over Instagram, and they always say it tastes like egg, of course it’s obvious why. I was wondering if you added Vanilla or maybe chocolate could you camouflage the flavor?
Its just meringue with a bare scant addition of starch and sugar. Im surprised the foam didnt collapse without a bit of Cream of Tartar. Adding vanilla would improve the "flavor" a bit, but it would still taste like vanilla flavored eggs. Its nearly angel food cake just minus the cake flour, salt and vanilla. It needs salt even if its just a dash as it improves the flavor of baked goods be they sweet or not. Otherwise they just taste strange or, as I've heard it described, flat tasting.
It's so amazing with vanilla I also took out all most all the sugar and added garlic powder, a few other spices and salt to make a savory pizza flavored one

Hello Fresh was pretty tasty for my bf and I, we both enjoyed it. Even though I messed up the first 2 boxes and just dumped all the separately packaged ingredients together. Apparently, they don't all come pre-measured! Lol.
There were some meals that I've liked enough to remake, but the produce has gone bad faster than other boxes I've tried and there certainly weren't many vegetarian options
@@meame4517 This is the only box we've tried and it was a while ago. But, I do remember that by the time we got to our 3rd meal in the box, the veggies weren't that fresh. And, that's only 3 days after delivery.

Lisa Cofrancesco That’s why you need a flavoring oil. They are much stronger than extracts, I got strawberry flavor from Walmart and it masks the egg taste pretty well.
It's fluffy meringue,with less sugar. If you don't like meringue you won't like it🤷🏻♀️

More sugar, some vanilla extract or other flavoring, lower heat in the oven and let it stay in for a long time to dry out and BOOM you got a huge meringue. If you're making smaller meringues for like cake decoration and don't want to risk them getting burned you can use a dehydrator. I set mine to 70 degrees celsius (158 Fahrenheit) and let it completely dry out. Works like a charm.
I feel like this is more of a "pretty" recipe rather than a realistic, tasty one.

Never had any issues with Blue Apron and they're cheaper (higher rated in unbiased reviews online as well).

I made it yesterday, ITS NOT LIKE BREAD TRUST ME. It’s more like a merengue mixed with a marshmellow, it has the consistency of cotton candy. And it’s REALLY sugary. It’s not good and my stomach began to hurt after 3 bites. Would not recommend.

The "egg" flavor does go away with time! I made something very similar to this often and I prefer to save it in the fridge for the next day. My version uses almond flour, and no sugar. The idea is you can put anything on/with it, so it can be sweet or savory.

I just made this and I love it. I did make a couple of changes though. I substituted Erythritol sweetener for the sugar (because keto) and I added a tsp of Almond Extract and a few drops of vanilla for flavoring. It came out tasting similar to a big marshmallow and wasn't the least bit eggy. The texture was reminiscent of marshmallow as well, so if you are expecting a bread or cotton candy texture your going to be disappointed. When I make this again, I'm going to do a bunch of little drops instead of one big loaf as the best part is the slightly crispy outer shell. Also going to try pairing it with a square of dark chocolate for a keto version of a s'more.

Snoreball the free recipes online are definitely a great bonus, all that’s stop anyone from saving a it more money is a bit of will power to go to the shop on their own and get the same ingredients, I used yellow Fresh for several months and then couldn’t afford it so when I started shopping it was so much cheaper, I really don’t think it’s worth it tbh. But if it helps you to cook and you don’t mind the extra money then go ahead 😊😊

I’ve been looking at recipes of this all over Instagram, and they always say it tastes like egg, of course it’s obvious why. I was wondering if you added Vanilla or maybe chocolate could you camouflage the flavor?
Its just meringue with a bare scant addition of starch and sugar. Im surprised the foam didnt collapse without a bit of Cream of Tartar. Adding vanilla would improve the "flavor" a bit, but it would still taste like vanilla flavored eggs. Its nearly angel food cake just minus the cake flour, salt and vanilla. It needs salt even if its just a dash as it improves the flavor of baked goods be they sweet or not. Otherwise they just taste strange or, as I've heard it described, flat tasting.

I also took out all most all the sugar and added garlic powder, a few other spices and salt to make a savory pizza flavored one

2 tbsp + 1 tsp of sugar
3 egg whites
