I definitely like the idea of challenge runs for the remaining cods. One idea could be having a limited amount of deaths per mission or checkpoint and if you go over the limit then you have to restart the mission. Idk I’m not very creative.
Woow in the last video I asked if he played the black ops 1 on veteran and now he uploaded it, I cant wait to watch it, thank you S0ur for playing one of my favourite childhood games!
Fun fact: The real Vorkuta riot ended with negotiations between the prisoners and guards. The prisoners knew that even if they escaped Vorkuta, they'd be in the Siberian wilderness inside a massive country where everyone would want them dead. So they simply demanded better treatment, and despite negotiating with a regime that looked at a list human rights like antonyms for communism, they actually got it.

I really appreciate you keeping key story details in i wanted to play the story of the new cods but dont have the old games. Thanks, love the vid keep it up.

Never say this, but it has been a treat finding ur channel (I assume). This video is awesome, subbed and will definitely watch more and share. Thanks for the content man
Loved the vid and I have a suggestion for a challenge which I tend to impose on myself, which is to always stick to the starting loadout you are given for the mission. Not particularly hard most of the time, just more of an ammo conservation thing but it can get you into some tight spots in certain locations (imagine doing all of Rooftops with only the akimbo CZ's, for example). You are allowed to use the weapons/turrets that they make you use for story progression although you can also tally them for the final punishment if you wanna make it interesting. For BO2 stick to the uncustomized loadout they give you, ofc
Maybe in Black Ops 2 you can only make use weapons and access kits only once, so you have to pick and choose which weapons to use on which mission and access kits are the same. This challenge makes you have to choose do you want to use the bad weapons first or the good weapons first or do you use a good weapon and a bad weapon. You also have to use those weapons for the mission and not switch them out for weapons on the ground unless their needed to advance the objectives but have to pick up your chosen loadout weapon after the objective is completed. If you get dropped into the mission without being able to choose a loadout the weapon(s) you start out with are the weapons that you have to use for the mission. Do you use a access kit now on this mission or do you try to use the access kits accordingly to get the best possible ending including a certain character surviving. I think its a decent challenge run and on veteran none the less. Also if you do go for the best ending and you fail may I suggest you do something that's the complete opposite of the ice cold bath punishment you suffered in this video. Like eating a hearty meal of very spicy food without any milk. Why spicy food you may ask Sour well one it is a hot & spicy meal and two the food has to go from the mouth all the way to the stomach which is the inside of your body.
in my opinion it was the best cod i ever played on all levels single multi zombie the hours i spent playing this was exaggerated because it was a fantastic game, and i played it a few times on veteran and it was a challenge but fun. keep up the good job.
I think the “pc is easier” crowd are correct in that aiming and controls are far superior to what people were dealing with on ps3/360s but the idea that the game itself is harder on console is people misremembering how hard these games are. Yes, when you tried veteran on your ps3 as a kid or less experienced gamer it probably felt like the hardest challenge ever, but coming back to them, veteran cod games (besides some of the really old ones) are really not very hard at all if you know how to play them
I am so happy that I am not the only one who was extremely confused by the barrels in the Vietnam mission. Genuinely has to be one of the worst designed sections of the bo1 campaign. I literally just didn't know what to do for the longest time. Once I realized it was still extremely difficult because your completely getting shot up each time you do the animation. Also there checkpoint is so terrible because you have to wait for them to talk every time before you can move. By the time you've respawned the 50th time you don't care about woods talking to that marine. I love the cod series and I have done all my favorite childhood games on veteran but that one section might just be the one I hate the most.
Poor Bowman, homie gets dealt such an awful hand. 😂 He’s a CoD character I would’ve liked to have seen fleshed out alongside the rest of the Black Ops cast.
i may be 5 months late but 46:50 ish u mention how people say pc is easier than console but it fundamentally cant be (aside from controls but controllers have aim assist anyway) most of the time when ur making a game u balance around the expected frame rate. imagine old games like 007 when u look down u move faster kinda ordeal. the old cods were completely balanced around 40-60 range sometimes as low as 30. that would most likely effect the fire rate and time between dmg taken which is why it seems like u peak out and instantly die sometimes, the npcs are likely shooting 2-3x as fast as they were on console. so at absolute best its neutral if the devs planned for this and balanced around 144fps (which i doubt but could be) or if anything console is easier since the enemies will shoot slower
2:41:26 - Redemption should say: 2:41:26 - Redemption THE JUG PUSH. come on man the extra bits on the bookmarks was on awesome touch. sirusly though i love your videos man.
The timeline in which Mason is established as an excellent marksman who never learned how to reload. Also, I definitely love the copium of justifying potential reload spots; if the explanation makes sense I am more than willing to accept it as being valid ("These guys are loading the catapult for me" killed me)
The no hitmarkers is discouraging, some vehicles / troop transport helis can definitely be immune sometimes so who knows, but would've been worth the try yep
@@S0ur well if it means anything, i just took down a helicopter with a gun in the MW2 remastered campaign and i wasn’t getting hitmarkers on it. probably has absolutely no correlation to black ops though 😂 i’m actually kinda curious now and i might honestly get on black ops tomorrow just to see if its possible
@@S0ur well update on the helicopters, i tried everything i could to take down that other helicopter without reloading the Strela, and it doesn't seem possible. i shot at it with multiple magazines of every gun there, used the grenade launcher that spawns on two Ak74u's in that area, and even threw grenades at it. after a couple minutes it activates a failsafe of sorts and the helicopter infinitely shoots at you until you die. so it looks like you do indeed need one reload in this game

You did a great job on the intro cut scene dub 😂
the voice acting was perfect
Can’t wait to see what challenge you come up with for black ops 2 considering the load out system!
I was expecting another MOH video but I'm not complaining. Only a few minutes in and I've already been treated to a S0ur voiced cutscene
I started achievement hunting recently and came back to this childhood gem of a game. Beat the campaign on veteran in like half a day.
Voice acting unironically good tho especially the shock scream
Great game. Great nostalgia. Great challenge idea!
2:41:26 - Redemption should say: 2:41:26 - Redemption THE JUG PUSH. come on man the extra bits on the bookmarks was on awesome touch. sirusly though i love your videos man.
I'm so glad to know that im not the only one who struggles with numbers, im on a normal veteran playthrough and have been stuck on it for days
“He said the thing” Yeah bro I’m finna sub to you😂😂😂😂
The timeline in which Mason is established as an excellent marksman who never learned how to reload.
Also, I definitely love the copium of justifying potential reload spots; if the explanation makes sense I am more than willing to accept it as being valid ("These guys are loading the catapult for me" killed me)
2:42:45 fun fact, it's actually an achievement/trophy to take down both helicopters with one rocket, so you didn't need a reload there
Ooh, that would've been cool. And I never even tried bullets on the previous one, surely it could be solved somehow.
@@S0ur hmm yeah i'd assume you could right? unless they specifically made those helicopters bulletproof there for some reason
I was trying to fall asleep, but I have arisen to make sure everyone knows this guy can voice dub like a pro. That is all
honestly for the next challange you should try to do only reloading, like you can't pick up other guns unless they're mission specific
8:10 Love the fact you completely skipped over the fact Bowman was freaking Ice Cube
