Thank you very much. Managed to get it to work. Though I had to add a movie to the playlist to bring up the option; as the playlist title was never used due to error in creating the playlist.
If i click on the Playlist it just brings up the Playlist. No option to delete.

@@flowerchild2479 the worst thing is, I did not create these. They are a bunch of this one youtubers playlists that just attached to my phone. I've have my own playlists that I've made public, deleted, made private but these! It's just freakin weird.

When I click it it plays the video right away
The worst thing is that I created a playlist accidentally and there is no delete option. When I go in the playlist and click on the 3 dots, it just says show unavailable videos
The fact that it said 2023 and it is uploaded 2 years ago😶

Thank you for the video it was sorta useful. I did everything you say but there’s no trash 🗑️ can icon but right next to the edit pencil there are three : dots and if click on it then it gives you the option to delete a empty playlist. Hope this tip bit helps others.
If this doesn’t work, you’ll see that you saved it and there’s a check on this little box that says it’s saved, your going to want to click it again and it should say removed from playlists. Sorry if I explained this badly. I did this method on a playlist TH-cam just put in 🙄

On my iPad, I don’t have “Library” any more, just “Subscriptions”. My saved videos come up by their categories, but there is no mention of playlists. Therefore, I do not have the option of a dustbin/trash can to consign the category of videos to. Do you have any suggestions?

If there is no "Delete Playlist" option for you, go into the playlist itself and unsave it by clicking or tapping the check mark at the top of the playlist

I dont have a trash icon on my phone. Can you help
My TH-cam app is completely different. Icons are different and there isn't even a delete option, only edit. I think it's just because this may now be outdated. That said, does anyone know where I can find an updated one? I buttdial style created a playlist and want to remove it.

@@jayasreekrishnakumari9112 Mine initually didn't have it, but now it's back. After you go through what they say to do, look under the three dots in th upper right corner. It should be there. If it's not, just hope it temperarily glitched like mine and will be back.

I believe this delete option works on a playlist that you created. For playlist created by someone else, the available option is to ‘remove playlist from library’.
Where does one go to the library from a cell phone, android.

Try opening the playlist and tap on the ✅ check mark to remove it
