I need more info on overall performance with a cvt. I'm so familiar with 5 gear transmissions now that a cvt just seems so odd. But I've noticed in my short time researching that almost all brands use cvts now for their high end atvs. So it seems like unless I get another honda I'm stuck with a cvt.
You lose something like 30% of your horsepower with a cvt setup but in my opinion you make up for it because the machine is always in the perfect gear. Now I will say if you care about reliability a traditional 5 speed or shifter setup is much more bullet proof and requires much less maintenance. That being said cvt are also very reliable just need to be serviced.
I've been thinking about upgrading atvs. I was wondering if you think the wider one is worth the extra money? I ride pretty open trails so the width isn't an issue, just want to see if the cost is worth it. Thanks
I had a scrambler 1000 48inch before this and they don't even feel like the same quad. You can outride any quad on the market with this thing even if you aren't a good rider. That being said I'm selling mine because I have more fun on a cheap under powered quad just because you feel like your riding harder. But if you want the Smoothest most comfortable and most capable quad and don't mind spending a bit extra this is the unit to have.
Please keep uploads.! Awesome dream machine
Thanks man!
awesome ride !🤩
Great review

What are your tyre pressures
They look a little high
Had them set too 7 psi, could probably run them a bit lower

Man you're lucky to have an old one dude, the new ones are 3,000 more dollars than what you paid for yours
I know I just seen they got released, ridiculous how much they went up.
@@RedlineRollers I was like, dude they are the same price as an early xp 1000!
My 2023 Scrambler xp 1000 S feels sluggish. For a 1000 cc it doesn't have near the power it should.
I agree it doesn't feel nearly powerful enough.
Do a weelie
I love mine i rolled her twice ...
Haha the God damn things are just so smooth you get going way to fast and before you know it your upside down!
@@RedlineRollers lmfao yep it was just baout like that
Just a ripper
