As a guy who has primarily played sports games, call of duty, and the occasional open world title (like a RDR 2 or similar) I am completely overwhelmed by playing this game for the first time.
Yes I’m overwhelmed by the learning curve, the difficulty, and the items in game. I’m overwhelmed by the lore, the story, and the disarray that the world has come into.
But most of all- I’m overwhelmed at how gorgeous and religious this experience feels. I’ve come upon something bigger than myself, and fuck, this video gives me chills because I am IMMERSED into this experience. What a beautiful creation Elden Ring is. As I continue this journey, I’ll be reminded by this video to take in the game’s inner beauty and appreciate it for what it is: A masterpiece.

the voice acting is so good i can feel the pain and emotion in their voice and so many unique voices, the voice acting in this game soooo underrated
I wish I could give Fromsoft and Miyazaki hugs. They made one of the only games that hasn’t been just a game to me. It really has been a journey and experience that i’ve enjoyed so much.

Today, I finally beat the master piece which is Elden Ring. It was an amazing journey and I wish I could experience the same feeling I felt when I first stepped into the Lands Between. A truly amazing game.

Hands down, the best voice acting in the whole game. Absolutely incredible. Morgott's character and his story just gets to you... I finished one of my playthroughs because when I cleared up everything I wanted, and it was time to go face the Veiled Monarch, I realised, I was too overleveled and beefed up. I just gave up fighting him and finished the playthrough there. Honestly, him and Melina are the two points where I gave up on progressing and dropped the playthrough.
I come back to this every couple months. It's so well done and rather comforting.
This video is simply perfection. The scenes, the melody, the dubbing... All of this hypnotizes people, thank you for giving me this experience, even though I've already played the game. 🇧🇷
This is probably my second favourite elden ring tribute video. Good job on this! The only thing that could've been better was the audio. Especiall at 3:10 the voices of the characters are too quiet.

Queen Rennala's 2nd phase was/is my favorite boss battle. I loved it so much I purposely delayed my inevitable victory. To me, it was like having a grand dance with the Queen of the Full Moon. The water splashing around us and the giant moon looking down at us was just icing on the cake.
absolutely fantastic and nearly perfect! you did a really good job at showing everything the game has to offer. i personally think you could have expanded it maybe 30-60 seconds longer to show some characters a tiny bit longer (those thar are just shown briefly). but other than that, great job!

I have watched many Elden Ring tribute videos over the last month and this is my favorite one. Every time I watch it, it still gets me. 200 hours in that game and this video evokes all of the emotions I felt making each new meaningful discovery and watching the stories unfold with these great characters. It is just my opinion but it would have been better to leave the picture saturations etc as it is because the original colors do a really good job at depicting the emotions and environment of the game.
It was a good edit nonetheless, a huge like from my side bud!!!

To give a more detailed criticism (i only mention the negative here! i think the video is fucking fantastic and so well done.)
-Margit is shown a bit too long, you could've cut out one hammer strike and a bit more, IMHO.
-Radahn is definitely too short and isn't visible - for someone not knowing what they're looking at, they can't make out what he is. his scream towards the sky can be shown longer, instead of the dragging of the cleanrot knight. and during the battle, maybe something more comprehensible than hitting the back of his horse.
-showing mohg during the mentioning of miquella is confusing - better would've been showing maybe his face on the haligtree in malenia's arena and his arm.
-malenias winged form can be shown for just a moment after the flowering of the scarlet aeonia.
-mohg himself can be shown shortly while saying one of his voicelines instead of during the mentioning of miquella. doesn't have to be much.
-i'd also keep it strictly chronological, so don't mix up scenes from during and after a boss battle (fire giant and radagon/elden beast). breaks a bit of immersion, but that's really subjective.
-during the showing of the landscapes, one from nokstella or the underground in general would be great
to save time, i'd cut out a chunk of the ending scene - the camera going down to show all of the erdtree and the sideview of the protagonist sitting on the throne isn't strictly necessary. i'd also show a bit less of margit / morgotts fight.
just if you want to release another version of this. but i completely understand that this is a fckn mountain of work, to condense such a big game into a few minutes. you did really well!
