At 10:32m I state "deferral" when I intended to state "deference". There's my Mercury retrograde screw-up. Lol. You can never escape it. Dang-it. 😂

You gave me a lot of things to ponder. Surely, to a person who is sufficiently evolved and aware of our connection to each other and the universe, of our common essence, the thought that someone is essentially better than someone else would be absurd.
However, we are beings constrained by our biological hardware in this time and place of existance. To achieve this beautiful brain that can support our complex conscience, we, as an evolved species, exploited neoteny: the ability to remain younger for longer and retain for longer our playfulness and plasticity of mind. We have also tamed ourselves to be able to bond with each other easily, and both self-taming and neoteny might be connected (there is the experiment of the Belyaev foxes that gives some insights).
However our self-taming and neoteny made us, as a material and neotonic species, vulnerable to a cunning endoparasite: suppose there is someone, who, by biological accident, retained their computating facility but retained still atavistic (I will say "reptilian") behaviors of being fearful towards anything outside themselves? They would really try to control everything around them, and by seeming in control and capable of exercising force, they would resonate with our neotonic part that cleaves to its powerful parent who is aggressive enough and who will protect us. And this is where our fascination with dictators and powerful, aggressive men (and it's obvious why it would be men in our species) possibly comes. And we naturally will follow them when we are stirred by fear and insecurity: the dark father beckons to us and we follow. And then, like Saturn's children, we get eaten, because the dark father is afraid of us and has to be in control of us.
Some may know that, because of their abusive parents, some get grooming to be authoritarian followers and good children, other get awareness and a sort of vaccination against bigger dark fathers (but the complications are nothing to laugh about).
Anyway, I am a bit worried about a potential victory of Kamala. Will she be a good maternal archetype? Will she be the mother that can also protect, nurture and inspire? If she manages, she will be a bright page in history. If she doesn't... Well, may the One keep us all safe from the Dark Fathers.
    Anyway, sorry for ranting.

Neoteny is a great word. I should use more often.
In terms of our cultural and other conditioning, not everyone is completely defined by that. I being a case in point. So it does seem like our state of evolution is a factor and that can, and is sometimes transcended. I certainly know that in higher states of consciousness our perspective is very different from the norm here, obviously, and we seem to be less subject to external pressures.
In terms of Kamala she is, no doubt, far more desirable than the alternative!
Thank you for the very thoughtful comment! 🙏🏻
