Oh god poor guy. He wouldn't have had any choice over how much Autotune was put on his voice. For anyone who doesn't actually have knowledge about using AT, this is a classic example of the sound engineer setting the AT retune speed way too high. It can be used to make a vocal performance sound better, but unfortunately, it can be so easily overdone. He's an amazing singer to begin with, otherwise it would have sounded terrible, even with the AT. So know your s**t before bagging him out.
It might be autotune, but it's only light. If you hear him sing this without autotune, he sounds the exact same. Autotune or not, he is not using it to hide his bum notes, because the man can sing so effortlessly that saying that would almost be criminal.

I've recorded the audio in this show, and run his voice against a frequency analyzer, and he is 100% perfect on the notes, which is a human impossibility, sorry...:-/ As for claims that autotune cannot be used at small venues, the box itself is relatively inexpensive, and easily concealable. Please don't take it out on me, I'm just informing you.

His speaking voice must be auto tuned as well since he sounds just as smooth speaking as he does singing. Anyone that is actually familiar with Michael Buble's singing can hear the difference. There is something off with the sound on this recording, but if it's auto tuning, it's not needing to work very hard. Michael has an amazing voice. Why judge him off one random video?

So I played it along with the studio version and found this version to be very slightly sped up. In other words, if I slowed this version down a tad it would be exactly the same. O dear. More like miming on Top Of The Pops, methinks. But ITV is a shallow show-biz channel aimed at the lowest common denominator.

you obviously don't know shit about auto-tune...that "robot sound" is just an effect...there's Auto-Tune, as well as Melodyne which just keeps everything together in key...there is auto-tune with out the robot effect.
