I've always felt the family task of putting up a (fake or real) tree and ornaments is all part of a Christmas celebration. I'd buy these if I owned a retail store that needed assets for annual reuse.
That was exactly my thought within a minute of his pitch. Families want and can spend time decorating a tree most of the time, the market for trees that set up in a minute isn't that big in that space. On the other hand, corporations and businesses, that have to put up dozens or hundreds of these across their offices, don't want to waste too many man-hours on setting up decorations. For them, saving so much time with this would certainly be worth it.
In early November I went to the drift store and bought a 7ft tree for $25 . Took me 20 min to assemble with ornaments too and everything stores away easy in a bag
