This is very useful because I don't need to know all every tool and when I need them, I need them. Plus, I personally don't use Illustrator but it got me thinking to make a video trying out other software like Affinity Drawer or Inkscape which I love.

So I recently got into illustrator! Was never really my thing. This is such a helpful video (but to be honest, all of your videos are!) One question about your pencil tool, are there any specific settings you use? Like if I use it, the lines are very wobbly and uneven, but yours usually come out (relatively) smooth! Is it just practice? Drawing tablet? Looking forward to more of your content!

Hello Abi, you are amazing, I have 2 small questions. It would be amazing if you can take your time and answer. Can I use mockups from envato for my logo presentation and can they post their mockup pictures on social media. Another question is...Can I use fonts from envato elements and peak them so they look original and sell them as logo? Is this everything cover under 33USD subscription plan?
as far as I know the answers to the questions are yes and yes! mock ups are fine to use on social media, then with the font's yes it can be customised and used within a logotype that you sell to a client, but you can't resell the font itself (if that makes sense :)
I am going to start a marketing management degree in september, am i able to do something like this in terms of a future job role with this marketing degree. i have a massive interest in marketing as well as designing i.e designing marketing campaigns and using creativity. do you think with a marketing degree, i am able to go into this, is there any link to design at all with marketing? also the scenario im trying to make is one where my only choice is this marketing degree at uni

I am trying to use pencil to create a custom letter as you said. but does not seem to reflect any changes... could you instruct me?

Yes there is a link, but I think experience and skill matter more than a degree when it comes to design, so do what you enjoy and you'll be fine 😊
