And yet, not hearing a housing package at State or Fed level for Perth. Lots of talk about a new Convention Centre, another bridge across the Swan River.....nothing for renters. They appear to love taking family homes off families and giving it to landlords as new rooming housing so landlords can make 🤑 4x rent. Just about everyone I know are couch surfing, living with family, fearing eviction as landlords sell for capital gain, living in caravans, cars, we see people in City on streets begging, tents under train bridges. With composting incinerator toilets and grey water regulations, screened from the road, why would you not allow say 2 to 3 tiny homes. No, 90% of migrants that come here, already come from big money. It is not very poor people from the third world coming here. Plenty of very wealthy people in third world countries. They have money and can easily afford homes here. Plus the wealthy in Australia, especially those that own many properties, love the immigration as it keeps pushing the price of their assets going up. The way it should work is that immigration should only happen if ALL Australian citizens are housed. There should be a temporary hold on immigration when there is a housing crisis where Australians are unable to find accomodation. To allow immigration at this point I agree is reckless. Adding more people to the mix doesn't work and is causing undue stress. Although strangely enough you will find the immigrants are housed and it's the Australians that are struggling. Funny that! Give Australians a break please... someone do the right thing for everyone! There needs to be urgent priority given to this matter.
For the those that arent aware the immigrants are in a bad position too. @@bobmarshall3700 Which means we are importing huge issues. 100 percent of Indian migrants come from a caste which has never done any type of manual labour.
@@ian7033-qj9wg and dislike other castes as well as was demonstrated recently.
This has to STOP! The cost of living is getting too much
I recall my Uncle's Melbourne timber yard no longer needing the 6 homes they built for employees 200 miles away. No longer needed in the '70s and were holiday homes for employees. That was the economics at the time.
Send all new arrivals to their neighborhoods then see how they like it.
Remember the news story of a barely 30 year old Indian student at an auction to buy a million dollar house? Turns out he was bidding on his parents behalf who were still back in India and the plan was to bring his parents over....not right; not fair
That’s exactly it, worked in tertiary education they are grubs.
It's the indian multiplier effect... If one Indian migrates, the extended families, relatives and close friends will all come along.
Agree false arguments the education sector didn’t grow with the skill shortage problem. The gov reduced tafe places and the ability to enrol in apprenticeships. Those trades and apprenticeship courses don’t pay enough to live independently.
Give people incentives to go into thoes careers nursing no one wants to do that any more it cost fortune ur not paid for any of ur on job traning and u come out 10s of thousands in debt my mother told me when she went through her traning she bearly paid a penny hiwbcome we can't do this anymore
You got that right. Wife is studying to become an EN atm. Only way we can afford it is because I'm FIFO. I honestly don't know how people working in the city on whatever now is the average wage get by.
The number is big. The number of Australians about to fall off the perch is 20 times that.deflation is coming big time.we are importing goat herder's nothing else. These people are resilient and are happy living on the railway line in a tent.
There is something very wrong in a country when you can get immediate emergency care for a dog but there's a five hour wait for people in the ED.
The Great Replacement
The great 'replacement' happened in the 80s too. Oh and the 60s. and the 50s. Funny innit? You people been saying the same thing about Italians and Greeks for a while now.
4:19 no doubt these politicians have portfolios of investment properties that they want to rent out at massive prices, so they need to keep the demand extremely high to do so
The way it should work is that immigration should only happen if ALL Australian citizens are housed.
Many aborigines don't want houses.
The cost of labor and Albo. Hope Aussies have learned the lesson. Vote labor lose your house and pay huge amount for food and power.
It’s all part of the plan.
The government needs to be called out for this. Period....
'youll live in a cardboard box and be happy'
Happy with cardboard box? Oh really? I bet you enjoy it while it lasts
For the those that arent aware the immigrants are in a bad position too. I know someone who is a real estate agent, there's no properties and when the immos turn up they have to have twelve months rental reference. So we have no houses for Aussies. No transitional housing and the tradies work in slow mo. Shires releasing land slowly and over priced. Its insane
Yep and to think the Pollies don’t know this at Canberra is laughable. The old cronies is like sending the young men off to war knowing what’s to come, just old bloated men in suits making decisions and us common folk lapping it up.
We have to build up, increase density in strategic locations. Doesn’t need to be 20 storey Meriton towers, allowing some detached houses be agglomerated and into a 3-4 storey low rise apartment can 5x housing supply of the land without destroying farmland and habitat, and while maintaining leafy suburb feel
@@mathewbuckley5619 exactly combined with some really good town planning as well.
Well don’t allow a million desi in the country in one year… fix the housing invite immigrants at a % that is reasonable and skilled ones not falsified English and Ed qualifications, the education agents are raking it in places like Delhi and the punjab, seen it first hand. They do not care about Australia we are a cash cow.
Sorry but try seeing the big plan instead of regurgitating msm nonsense. they come here for welfare and tax payer funded free stuff, they live in crowded homes no matter where they are.
Iook at what's happening in Europe and the UK and the USA we need to wake up plus Tyson foods
I have students living in caravan parks, sleeping on the couch of their tiny homes, while other families facing homelessness cram into one of the 2 bedrooms in the "property".
"need skilled migrants", right, but i dont see any further improvements with immigrations
If the goverment keeps going there will be tents on the streets and crime will rise they are irresponsible
Attack drones with AI is only 10 years away 😂😂😂
i'm korean working holiday visa holder living in Perth.. now i live in backpacker hostel and it's over 200 per week T^T i think too many people like me swarm into Australia :( i'm sorry
It's not your fault. Blame the game, not the player.
Our government sets the policy. It's on them.
There is nothing wrong with visiting countries on a working holiday visa, Korea makes up a small minority of immigration, the issue is statistically china and India are coming at an overwhelming volume
I like Koreans, first world people, good work ethic, not always trying to scam people and mostly Christian.
You see Koreans are cool, they make an effort, humble and not arrogant, Indians and Pakistanis are scammers and arrogant by nature. You’re welcome here mate.
Not your fault matie it is Government.
Albo is very very good at putting a positive spin on everything. But some things can't be spun away with like Massive Migration and all the problems that come with it.
Sydney is more like India also these days theres too many and they are not skilled.
And full of Chinese also. Brisbane not as bad, but getting worse.
@@SBGNatureandCoffeeChannelat least Chinese are very skilled but Indians have no skills
More Chinese in Sydney. Melbourne is Indians
Australia is doomed . Chinese are ok. But careful with Indians
Damn Albo the cheesy dickwad!! Melb both China and India. Grr. Saw a few Indians on the Sunshine Coast coming from Brisbane for holiday last year grrrr 😖
