Gerry do you have any more built up boards for resale? Thanks Jim

Does traces for unused OCXO forms works as antennas or parasite capacitance / inductance, so they can degrade overall precision?

Yeah that would probably work, would take a little messing around but it would work. Lesson to self - never guess a PCB land pattern!

Gerry Sweeney Love your videos, they're *very* educational! :) Between you and Dave (of EEVblog) I have all the knowledge I've ever needed about electronics. :)

    No.... thank YOU for watching

No thats not how it works, precision is set by the frequency of the OCXO, not the quality of the signal. Gerry

great videos ,watched your videos for a few years and always fascinating. i after some help if possible please.
I am trying to locate a 5mhz oven controlled crystal to preform a upgrade to my racal dana 9906 but it seems to be harder than i thought do you have one i could purchase from you please
    cheers

I dont have a 5Mhz one I am afraid, but you could easily use a 10Mhz one and a 74HC393 or 74HC74 to divide by 2., its a fairly trivial circuit to build. There are pleanty of 10Mhz OCXO's available on ebay. Hope that helps. Gerry

Hello I want to use your pcb:
    STILL AVAILABLE
HP/Agilent 53131A-010/GS Rev 1G Fully Built and Tested with Trimble 34310-T OCXO, Cable and Mounting Kit
This is for use on a DAC with BNC input.
Can you provide me with a compatible connector for your PCB
Because I see a connection layer and I don't know what to do.
    Thanks very much

Hello Philippe, thanks for the question and the order. Just want to check with you, the option board has an on-board DAC and a 5v reference, this is for calibrating the oscillator once installed in a 531x1A counter. If you are intending to use this board "stand-alone" board it will not be that easy to calibrate, and unfortunately the calibration settings are stored in the counter, and not on the board. From what I understand you want to use the board with a DAC for audio purposes? The board will need a 12v supply (when used with the Trimble OCXO) and a 5v supply and you will need some way of calibrating it too. In a nutshell, as much I am happy to sell you one of these, its not going to be the best foundation for what you want to achieve. I will drop you an email. Gerry
