The Commanders have more talent than you think. They brought in Bobby Wagner, Frankie Luvu, Austin Ekeler, Zach Ertz, and Jeremy Chinn in the offseason. Jayden Daniels looks great so far and it is possible for rookie QBs to be great (C.J. Stroud). I expect him to overcome a lot of the weaknesses elsewhere on the team like Stroud did. Also, an improved coaching staff will help. The team quit on Ron Rivera, and Eric Bieniemy and Jack Del Rio were the worst coordinators in the NFL. They won't quit on Dan Quinn. Kliff Kingsbury will run the ball once in a while and Joe Whitt Jr. will blitz one in a while, so they will surely be better than their predecessors. The Cowboys lost more than you think. They lost Dan Quinn, who was a huge part of the reason they won 12 games the last 3 years. Mike Zimmer USED to be a great defensive mind, but that wasn't the case during his last few years with the Vikings. Unless he updates his schemes, that's a huge downgrade. They lost Tyron Smith and Tyler Biadasz and replaced them with rookies. That's the 2 most important positions on your offense besides QB and 2 positions were rookies typically struggle. They lost Tony Pollard and replaced him with a washed up Zeke Elliot. They lost Dorance Armstrong and Dante Fowler Jr., which means less depth at edge rusher for them. They lost Da'Ron Bland for half the season. I think they lost more than you think. They won't be able to run the ball or stop the run. I expect significant regression from them.

You could be spot on, but I don't know. I'd love to see Washington be good again, but I'll believe it when I see it.
