When I saw an ad for this I thought it would be a great solution. I use lots of AA and AAA batteries. When I get large packs at Sam's Club it's a pain to store them in the large odd shaped packs they come in. Thanks for the review.
This video seals it for me. I bought another kind of battery organizer a few years back now and while it functions well, I didn't like the fact that it didn't click closed, so anytime I use it I have to be careful not to let the thing open and have all the batteries fly out. Plus this one holds more batteries. Definitely the right information, great review!
I just bought one today at a small variety store ($19.99) and wanted to know more about it. I think you covered all the bases, Jeff - I would just add that you have to be really really careful with those latches - they aren't closed until you hear that click. If you don't hear that, I can envision the case opening and all those batteries rolling around all over the floor. Since my case doesn't fit in my kitchen drawer, I'll leave it flat in a hallway closet. Thanks for all the info!
I bought a smaller one about a month ago and I love it. Makes me wish I had gotten one a long time ago. You don’t have to be a prepper to want one. I just wanted my batteries all organized in one place.
My wife got me this as an Xmas present - I can't tell you how useful & convenient this is! Finally, no more digging through the couch storage for batteries only to find they're dead also lol!
Hahaha - couch storage...I like that in know where my batteries are and if I get low I can order more. Thanks for sharing your experience with this item.
I saw you drop button batteries in that extra storage compartment. I leave my button cells in the cardboard. Much easier to get out that way. I am really impressed by this box.
Do they make any Battery Organizer Storage Cases with both sides for C & D, AA, AAA, & 9-volt batteries? I do not need a whole side filled with AA! Instead, I had to get a clear shoebox & still have to have a box stuffed w various batteries. At the least, let people decide which they want for Side 2. It is SO frustrating that in all of this time, they have never thought of this. I'd be very happy to have both sides the same as the side that holds C & D batteries. Of course, you only need one tester in the whole case.
Hi Jeff thank you for the video. I was thinking half of the battery 🔋 tray could be used for rechargeable batteries as well. I have hinted to my family that I would like the Battery 🔋 Daddy for father's day. 😎
I saw this on Amazon today & decided to look for a good review! After watching this; I'm going to purchase 2 of them; 1 for me, 1 for my son for Christmas. I never noticed; is there a date on batteries? About how long will they stay good? Thanks! New Subscriber!!
I just bought the Battery 🔋 Daddy today. Got one at Walmart, until I saw that Home Depot had the more deluxe version (180 batteries instead of 150), so I traded (Got refund at Walmart to buy this at Home Depot). The battery tester is a Godsend. This can go in what was the former junk drawer, in a new way. Tip, never keep batteries in whatever devices you’re not using. This invites battery leakage, or rupture. This can (and will) ruin your devices, so please learn this the easy way. The Battery Daddy is NOT designed for dropping, stepping 🫡 on it, kicking it, throwing it down the stairs, or any actions that the manufacturer 👨 has not recommended. This would be abuse of the product, not normal use. The Battery Daddy is built sturdy enough, for it’s intended purpose. Your friend, Jeff.
I only use energizer batteries 🔋and wait till they are on sale, they don't leak out like Duracell batteries 🔋 that make a friken mess unless they are rechargeables, they don't leak and you save lots of money. It would have been nice if Battery Daddy came with a portable battery charger from Energizer as well, a nice little combo package. 😎
He simply means don't bother nicely facing the energizer logo facing toward you because the batteries will roll around and after you neatly faced the logo toward you... the batteries logo may not be all facing the same way after moving around the battery daddy... although they would all still be in the same spot but slightly rotated like a rotisserie chicken on a spit 🙂
I ordered one for my rechargeable batterys. Haven't got it in yet but down in Florida with hurricanes ya kinda need rechargeables. With a charger that goes into a cigarette lighter 😉
So, I just got the battery daddy, my question is..if I bought a new package of say AAs, should I take them out of the package and put them in the case? Or wait until I've opened the package of batteries?
I go back and forth on brand name and generic batteries. I prefer brand names because as mentioned they tend to be better quality and seen to last longer but for remotes and silly stuff genetics are great. They don't get worked real hard and I don't feel like I'm breaking the bank if I'm changing remote batteries twice or three times a year. Where for toys and gadgets replacing batteries every other day or a few times a week takes away from the joy and can start to get expensive even with less expensive batteries.
I find it difficult to use the battery tester on D cell batteries. The cutout in the tester is not deep enough for the D volt and seems a millimeter or so too short.
I’m trying Ikea. Rechargeable this looks great , but looks like it has thin plastic case is it durable? PS NICE VOICE. Thank you for the video. Good job.
We saw this at menards, I'm like no chance in hell we'll ever buy that thing...LMAO, now if this thing came fully stocked with battery's I might change my mind lol
Wow - if it came prefilled that would be a game changer... then again, I'd like it filled with decent batteries lol. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
OK this might be a silly question but how do you put the battery inside of the charger I cannot get those little metal things to attach could someone do a video on that lol thank you
I just got off the phone with a guy, i was trying to order one and he was charging me 90 some odd dollars i asked him about the commercial said 19 dollars well he was trying to sell me four i told him i only wanted 1 with the battery tester and he gave me a price of 69 dollars so i just cancelled the order😊
That's not a lot of batteries... I have 3 of those things, not counting a wall rack and another storage bin. You missed 2 batteries that go in the handle.
One more thing. Button batteries if they touch eachother, they drain the power. I made that mistake putting them in a sandwich bag. Went to use them a week later and all were dead. BUMMER
So for anyone that has this case have you found that your batteries say they are dead with the battery checker ? My batteries supposedly don't go bad until 2031... They say they are all dead which is suss.
So I would say don't throw your batteries out until you have out them in something to see if they run... Because for some reason they are all dead.. but they work.... 😔🙄
The battery daddy is very dangerous. One guy opened a battery daddy with wet hands and was severely electrocuted. a full battey daddy packs 225 DC Volts. You can actually arc weld using the extra battery daddy option (just pay shipping & handling) So please be super careful.. P.S I just found out if you velcro the case to your service panel like Tesla's power wall, you can run your house in the event of a blackout. It does require another added option, (just pay a small fee, and shipping & handling)

You're right, it's a very convenient way to organize all of those batteries. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Absolutely, you need to clip them tight. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
I bought one of these months ago. and love it. It keeps all the batteries organized. and so easy to haul around. and mine is completely full.
That's great to hear...I like mine. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Jeff, I need multiple batteries for use and never heard of this thing. Thanks for your review.

@@Jeffreviews4u yeah, the arms lift up on ours for storage, both of which usually become catch-alls for batteries, charging cables, etc. 😊
Lol...I have one like that too...they do become a catch all.
I saw you drop button batteries in that extra storage compartment. I leave my button cells in the cardboard. Much easier to get out that way.
I am really impressed by this box.
Ha! I received one from my father in law and love it. Even the tester works great.
They are very convenient! Thanks for sharing.

I both like Duracell, and energizer
Forgot the storage in the handle, nice video.
You are correct...4 more batteries lol. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Nice video 👏👏👏
just wondering when you say don’t bother lining AA & AAA up, do they move and fall out the slots or pretty much stay in place?
They stay in their spot, the just spin. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
I got one and is excellent. You missed 4 spaces at the handle area.
What goes under the battery tester? There's some space under it.
There is space but I don't think anything is supposed to go there. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍

I've had too many toys go dead with generic batteries. Recently I have started using rechargeable batteries...I love the convenience.
@@Jeffreviews4u been looking at rechargeable for a while. Have u had any issues with them no longer charging?
Does the BATTERY TESTER require a battery? Or does it operate via the battery that is being tested?
I find it difficult to use the battery tester on D cell batteries. The cutout in the tester is not deep enough for the D volt and seems a millimeter or so too short.
I’m trying Ikea. Rechargeable this looks great , but looks like it has thin plastic case is it durable? PS NICE VOICE. Thank you for the video. Good job.
If you go through many batteries frequently, then it’s fine-but batteries have a shelf life so you can’t save them for too long

Does it charge the batteries
No, it stores the batteries. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I put raw button battery’s in that bin and they all got hot!!!!
RAOVAC! RAYOVAC! RAYOVAC! Compare very favorably with Energizer and Duracell for a much more reasonable price.
OK this might be a silly question but how do you put the battery inside of the charger I cannot get those little metal things to attach could someone do a video on that lol thank you
Mine I have a problem closing the back lid
My battery daddy looks different.
Also my battery tester is smaller with I think less capabilities and over all quality
They make them in different sizes. I've recently picked up a smaller one too. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Hey Jeff!
Nice meeting you today! Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Kirkland batteries made by duracell
I'll look into those. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Brand name batteries
I agree. Sometimes you have to go with what you know! Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Amazon AA batteries so much cheaper. recently bought 100 for only 23 bucks and its pretty comparable to Energizer Max alkaline to me
They are cheaper but I find that they only last a fraction of the time. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
