Hi Ken ..nice to see you ..thanks for showing these amazing guitars..it was very nice of you showing us Before the dawn solo in your last video..I for one would like to see you do more videos like that...it would be fantastic if you could share a bit of your knowledge as far as more effective ways of practicing the guitar for the metal genre...obviously there are lots of guitar lessons out there these days but to me , and I'm sure to others, nothing comes close to knowledge coming from someone like your self. Thanks...Amir Razmara

Those studs on the Hammer always looked cool as hell. I'm not surprised KK came up with it himself. He always had great aesthetic sense. He started the leather look after all.
my wife bought me a Hamer back in the 90s, that guitar played like a DREAM and no matter how hard I tried there was no way to knock it out of tune, pickups were hot and bad ass... I preferred the Gibsons and parted with it regretfully.
Kenny its Robert Von Kopp from Seattle IM the one who fixed the floyd nut on the Hamer as Fergie looked on in horror with the big file,,,, then we went golfing in West Seattle the next day,, hope youve been well Family of the Preist !!!!!!!!!
Hello KK! I noticed you didn't have your original Vector that Paul and Jol built for you, that was used during the US Festival in 83. I believe it originally had your name in the large logo, with "by Hamer" in smaller font below it. THAT was a classic piece! : )
i played a 65 strat in the 90s...same 3 tone sunburst... along with some music mans . vintage tones at its best. kk and glenn 2legendary guitar heroes !
Awesome video. Love seeing all the vintage gear. Question: Do you still have the HAMER? V red that you played the US Festival in 83? I saw the video on youtube and didn't see it in your video here. A similar one you showed but not that exact one.
Man I got a block inlay neck looks like bolt on but no drilled holes yet. Im likin a v body woth binding and Id like 3 humbuckers with 3 pickup switch.
Mostly sold now. Interesting series of videos, although the poor camera work and sound is distracting. The early Floyd Rose systems without the fine tuners were a nightmare as when you tightened the locking nut the strings went sharp and no fine-tuners to compensate..
FOCUS THAT CAMERA! GEEEEEZE! You have KK showing you historical stuff ,and you can't even fosus the damn camera! KK is great, these guts shooting this are mormons!
Hi Ken, I noticed that your modern guitars have scalloped fretboards. Which do you prefer (scalloped or normal) and what differences have you noticed in your playing because you have them scalloped?
I have a question for KK: Out of many floating bridges you've played, which one is your preferred one and why? Also, some seasoned guitar players say they have trouble going from Floyd Rose to Kahler or vice versa. What's your opinion about the difference in playing the two trems?
Did Floyd Rose try to sell their prototypes by saying, "There's only two, and Eddie's getting one of them."? I swear there's a video of Brad Gillis saying that he was told the same thing when he received his first floyd.
Thank you very much KK for being super cool and showing your loyal fans and life long lovers of Judas Priest your awesome collection of guitars! Been playing for 32 years. You and Glenn were and are still great influences. Cheers!

I wish Hamer had released replicas of your guitars . Would love one of the mini V`s
I would too ild sell my kidney to get one 😅😅
I think I'd rather have the white Strat he plays on Sinner on Memphis concert '83.
Hamer were bought by another company who immediately closed them down.

Thanks KK, I saw you guys a lot from 85 to 87. I enjoy checking your gear out. Thanks for all the memories, and hearing loss!
Is that the '65 Strat he played on the Sinner, Live Vengeance - Memphis '82? If so that's the best tone I've ever heard. At 3:30.
Yes it was, it was one of many guitars that he sold in the Bonhams auction in about 2020, it sold for £17,000, wish I had the money to have bought it.
I'm glad you're still at the Steel Mill. Bought your book. Excellent read. Still encouraging others which i like.

That story about buying studs at Kmart is hilarious. That is some true inside info.
What about the ESP,s? Always loved the black one with the explorer headstock. Like a KKV
Wish he would demo them and show amps/pedals
I liked the fact that he showed his guitars of what he used down through the years I just wished he would have played each one.
It's fuckin' KK can we get hd or at least focus
you can hear the camera squeaking when he's focusing
I always thought he had a kahler on his Hamer V.
Love that flying v painkiller hammer 🤘 sick
So that red Hamer "V" has the second Floyd Rose trem ever made? Wow! Imagine what that guitar would be worth on the open market now?
How's the neck dive on that mini V, though?

I wonder what happened to his ESP flying V.
Wish he had talked a bit about, what pick up's were in the guitars.
Hey KK, is there a full version of Caviar and Meths stored somewhere? Break that out of the attic!
check out al atkins / caviar and meths
Do some of the Latter guitars with the blacked out pickups Have active sets in them ?
Were the Steinberger like smaller body V's (the one with the studs) Available to the public? what Hamer model name were they?
Legendary camera work, did you hire a potato to do it?

Thanks for the tour, KK! Is it an optical illusion, or are the fretboards on some of those scalloped?
Red Hamer V looks scalloped from fret 1.
he started to prefer scalloped around turbo lover and beyond
RRXander Cool,never knew.
He thought he had a late 70s Strat with a 60s headstock. Haha That was a Nigel moment.
Didn't KK have some ESPs??
He only just signed with them
+Jordan Mahony no it was Glenn who just signed with them, Not K.K, as far as I know any ways lol

The camera man? It was probably his niece. Go look at Tipton's version of this. It's so blurry and muffled it's ridiculous.
