My first version of Runaway has been by far my most viewed video on here. I recorded that version when I was still new to doing these videos, so it's always bugged me that the video quality and editing was poor. Therefore, I figured it was due an update now I'm using a better camera!
I also created my own backing track this time.
"Runaway" is a song made famous by Del Shannon in 1961. It was written by Shannon and keyboardist Max Crook, and became a major international hit. It is No. 472 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time, compiled in 2010. This version is based on the cover by The Ventures.
