- Starground is an early-access automation game with some dungeon crawling and bosses. So don't let the first portion of the game fool you. It isn't just a super chill experience and that's all, if that is what you're expecting. Nord had fun learning more about the game and can't wait to see what the game's future will look like. Is this the same developers as Nova Lands game? Graphics are very similar
@@bloodofshadows9172 From what I've seen on Steam the dev is Big Boy Games for Starground and Nova Lands dev is Behemutt. I'm not sure if they are related in any way. -hazzie
Amazing work on the soundtrack, the gameplay hooked me in, and the combat filled every desired niche in the genre.

You had me at Conveyor Belts! Who doesn't love a cozy automation game? Even with the dungeon bullet hell mechanics!

thats like the name from starbound and all the gameplay and textures straight from forager game
Now that you mention Starbound and Starground are pretty similar sounding. lol I haven't played Forager though so I don't know about that one. -hazzie

@@hazzieandnord I have a hard time believing there wasn't any inspiration from Forager here.... Its incredibly similar... Which isn't a bad thing tho, I loved that game and was sad that it wasn't continued more. It was extremely addicting

Yap, this is super similar to the Forager game. Hopefully this one will have late game that's not just sitting AFK for three days straight waiting for the last couple achievements.

I love your enthusiasm on this one, Nord, "We have pooweeer!" This seems like a really fun game and I like how atmospheric the music is. Usually games like that look too overwhelming for me but this seems like something I could manage and not stress myself out too much. (Except the boss, o course). Love the bees too! Beeeees! 🐝🐝🐝

As you could tell I had a great time, I've played plenty of these automation games, but this is among the smoothest.
I definitely recommend checking it out, you can go at your desired pace without outside threats forcing your hand.

Nice video. The moving transitions on the cuts (particularly in quick succession) was very distracting and offputting.
Everything else was great though.
