@@AG_Buses Thanks! And yeah I knew that. It's great that HK are taking a long time to get electrified but the 47 part converting is a slight downside to that. It'll be weird seeing Vision Zeros on that route
@@AdamWebb1982 They do seem like they're much better on the fast section between Yellowpine Way and The City Pavilion. And yeah when I filmed this video I experienced some bunching
Yeah it's great that they have paper blinds but sadly Stagecoach's Electroliners (and all new electrics so far) have had LEDs, so this batch of buses will be the end of an era for London :( At least Stagecoach are ordering from McKenna instead of Hanover for their LEDs. McKennas are so much easier to film/picture and they break down a lot too which means more interesting bandits!
I'm not sure about weekdays but on Sundays even with the 86's reduced PVR there are rarely any electrics on it for some reason. Saturdays are when most electrics come out onto the route. There were around 4 or 5 on it yesterday.
Damn it! I wished the 247 would've had the new ADL E400EVs which the SL3 will be recieving. Well, I hope that the 169 or the 287 will get them when they also convert to electrics, and that one of them can get the Volvo BZL DDs (preferably the 287)
@@Momanic Yeah it would be nice if E400 EVs were ordered but Electroliners are good too. And it would also be good if Stagecoach continues to buy from ADL, Wright and Volvo so they don't go back to ordering ADL all the time like they did when the head of Stagecoach was associated with ADL
While filming this video, someone used the emergency door release to get off the bus while we were at a red light. Can't wait for the 247's to get as trashed as the 86's!!! These seat back stop bells are just bad, went on multiple 86's and quite a few were already fallen into the seat, I would love for there to be more handrails upstairs, but not in the ugly orange colour
@@ahuman9143 Yeah it's weird how TfL thinks a lack of handrails on the upper deck (apart from one at the front) will somehow make bus travel better but also want to reduce injuries on buses
Honestly, as far as electrics go in London the allocated electrics would probably only be ready by 2026 🤣.
@@AverageTrainz I would love for that to happen!
