I remembered watching this a kid. Whatever I hear the theme song, I would know exactly what that is and stop everything to watch it.

True: Willie’s singing was a miracle. And people aren’t used to miracles. But don’t be too sad, because miracles never really die.

This show was a Disney parody of Masterpiece Theater, which was hosted by Alister Cooke. There was another of that show on Sesame Street known as Monsterpiece Theater hosted by Cookie Monster as Alister Cookie.

Ahh yes, I remember this coming on really early in the morning. I would sneak down while it was still dark and watch while everyone else was still asleep.

The end of the short is similar to the end of the Johnny Appleseed segment of Melody Time with the trees with apple blossoms becoming the clouds of heaven.

Irvin Graham wrote this segment for Make Mine Music, although he didn’t have screen credit in the film. He was eventually credited when the segment was released as a separate short in 1954.

The actor who voiced and sang acting of Willie the Operatic Whale was by Nelson Eddy.

I remember this cartoon from Make Mine Music. But it was on both The Mouse Factory and Walt Disney Presents. As a matter of fact, a couple of cartoons to deal with this program are Three for Breakfast a Donald Duck cartoon with Chip and Dale and The Whalers a Mickey Mouse cartoon. Both cartoons aren't on Disney plus. But they are perfect for the host.

Peter and the Wolf of Make Mine Music from Disney was the longest segment of the entire film from 1946 and was narrated by former recurring Disney voice actor Sterling Holloway, who lived from 1905-1992.

The front page of the newspaper at the beginning of this segment said Seaman sightsees singing sea monster, but whales are not sea monsters or monstrous fish at all, they are aquatic mammals that live in the ocean.

Willie the Operatic Whale appears on a poster in the queue line of Mickey’s PhilharMagic at the various Disney theme parks throughout the world, although he does not appear in person in full CGI animation at all in the 3D film itself with 4D effects in the theater.

Fun fact: On the December 29th, 1941 issue of Time magazine, Dumbo was to grace the front cover as "Mammal of the Year". However, because of the USA joining in WWII, the editors replaced Dumbo with General Douglas MacArthur (and rightly so).
Dumbo did however, still have a 1,400 word article about him included in the issue.

There is one more thing to do I am making a project of a novel called "Ethan: The Elephant who sang Opera". The film's storyline, and synopsis was a bit similar to Disney's "The Whale who wanted to sing at the Met", but different.
This story is about a singing elephant named Ethan who was born with three uvulas -- Unlike Willie, who swallowed not one, but three opera singers -- which can sing all at once. Ethan's dream is to be an opera singer who will be singing in an opera theatre. However, in the beginning of the story, Ethan was singing to his animal friends in a forest.
I'm running out of ideas since I'm completing the storyline which I was brainstorming with. I need your help by making the whole storyline in chronological order. Please make sure that don't make the storyline look a bit similar to "The Whale who wanted to sing at the Met" or it will be a rip-off or a plagiarism to the film. Please make sure that it needs to be more original. It needs to be inspired and might be a sequel or a remake/reboot of the film. The work needs to be modified. I also need your help that you should add more characters in the work. It needs to include a teenage girl and other characters in the story.
I also made a sister company for my story which is my company of "Nekogi Entertainment" (which is named after my TH-cam channel) called "Project Opera Pathetique" which is named after the title of Willie the Operatic Whale/The Whale who wanted to sing at the Met.
If you have many questions, issues, or need help. Let me know in the replies Thank you!

The main reason why Make Mine Music is not available on Disney+ is because of The Martins and the Coys being way too violent with comic gunfights and brief nudity in All The Cats Join In and the Shortnin Bread song in The Whale Who Wanted To Sing At The Met being too racist.
