Mitsubishi Quick Tips: Clearing an 'E6' Warning on a Mitsubishi Servo Amplifier

This video describes how to clear the 'E6' warning on a Mitsubishi Electric MR-J3 servo amplifier using a software or hardware solution. 'E6' refers to a forced stop warning. Without providing the necessary wiring this warning message cannot be cleared unless a parameter is changed within the servo amplifier. For analog drives, a parameter setting typically does not exist to disable the forced stop selection. MR Configurator or MR Configurator2 is needed to disable the warning through software. Keep in mind that if you are using a motion controller program, MR Configurator (the servo parameters) must be accessed from within the MT Works2 or MT Developer software, otherwise the parameter settings will not be saved for the drive.
